Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey's husband, has given up his radio show on the advice of his medical team.  He was admitted to hospital over Christmas with mild kidney failure.

Now it's been discovered he's got blood clots on his lungs, and part of his heart is enlarged - I imagine this is rather scary, and will bring you up a bit short, especially when you've got little kiddies at home!

"I have been in the hospital since Friday, and actually, it's quite serious. I didn't even know. I was actually trying to downplay it a lot - even in my own mind - not go to the hospital because I was having a lot of pain in my back and I thought it was the typical kidney pain that I had been experiencing, but I thought it had been a little bit heightened.

Because of the blood clots in my lungs, I also had an enlarged ventricle in my heart. My antibodies [in] my immune system were attacking my organs and it made my body even weaker.

"I always took a lot of pride in working so hard and never taking a day off. But I'm learning that it isn't the wisest thing all the time, especially being a new father.  Not only wanting to spend more time with my children, but wanting to be there for my children."

Talking of his little kiddies, I suppose we should start bracing ourselves for the EPIC production that will be Moroccan and Monroe's first birthday celebrations - they're nine months old already (where did THAT time go?!) and we can be sure that preparations are already well under way (along with a signed and sealed mag' and TV deal too, I expect).

Today's Celebaby is about 'cats and kidneys' - Lily Copper's mum has let the proverbial cat out of the bag and Nick Cannon (Mr Mariah Carey) has kidney failure.

It's funny how you don't realise things until you're told them - had you noticed that still some five, or so, weeks after Lily Copper's daughter arrived safely in the world we still didn't know what she'd been called?

I mean, it's one of the first things you ask (or want to know) along with how much the new arrival weighed - at least they are the things I want to know.

Well, after keeping the little girly's name under wraps for so long (whether intentionally or not, who's to say) Lily's mum accidentally revealed her granddaughter's name on Facebook (whether intentionally accidentally or not, who's to say!) when writing to a friend.

So Ethel May Cooper is her name - some people like it, some people loathe it and predict a trip to the deed poll office the moment she hits 16 and can legally change her name sans parental permission.

Nick Cannon

I'm mildly amused by the fuss that's erupted over, what's been described as, the  'mild kidney failure' that struck Nick Cannon down over Christmas, although I'm not sure I should be.

I think it's because kidney failure is serious and for some reason, in my (perhaps) warped mind, both Mariah and Nick tweeting photographs of him in the hospital looking pretty okay have made it seem not so serious. I also can't help thinking maybe he just had kidney stones...?

Joking aside, any unexpected hospitalisation of a loved one isn't funny, especially when their stay is on an intensive care ward there are new babies at home - all of a sudden our mortality is thrust into the spotlight and all the worst case scenario 'what ifs' will rush through everyone's minds.

Well, the good news is Nick seems to be okay; he's out of intensive care, he's been transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles - he was originally admitted to hospital in Aspen whilst on holiday - has had an operation, which he was awake for (I know this because Nick told 'us' so on Twitter) and a couple of hours ago he said he's recovering and about to be stronger than ever.

PHEW!  I can sleep soundly in my bed again at night now knowing all that!

Mariah Loves Jenny

Mariah Carey has become the latest post-preggars celebrity to become a Jenny Craig ambassador and credits her whopping 70lbs weight loss to the diet. Mel B also decided the best way to shed her baby weight is the Jenny Craig 'have all your calorie-restricted meals delivered to your door' way - I told you about it, briefly, last month.

Call me an old cynic, if you will, but whatever happened to taking responsibility and good old-fashioned 'sorting it out for yourself'? I tipped the scales at 14ish stone when I was pregnant with my youngest, am now a dress size 6 and not once did a Jenny Craig meal pass my lips.

Unless you have a heart of stone you can't fail to smile at the utter JOY that motherhood is giving to Mariah Carey.  Yes I know she can be a bit over the top and, yes she probably doesn't live on the same planet as the rest of us, but parenthood is a wonderful leveller (well, on the whole it is).

I must confess to have been a little surprised by the quietness that's surrounded the Carey-Cannon family since Monroe and Moroccan were born earlier this year.  There was SO much fuss and hype surrounding their arrival - once Mariah and Nick put everyone out of their misery with their eternal, it seemed, riddles and cloaked comments hinting at a possible pregnancy - that I fully expected there to be have been 'more' immediately after.

Natalie Cassidy

Natalie Cassidy has discovered the effects of the stress diet.

Your life torn apart and splashed across the papers for all the nation to read, fear for your own safety and that of your daughter is all you need to rapidly lose three stone of baby weight.

Poor Natalie, I know she's not everyone's cup o'cha but I must confess to having a soft spot for her.  She thought she'd found true love with Adam Cottrell but it all went sour a couple of months ago when he turned violent.

"I wanted me and Adam to be a family forever. I wouldn’t have chosen to have a baby with someone if I didn’t think it would be forever," she told the Daily Mail recently.

Adam Cottrell pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage and is now subject to a restraining order; he still sees his daughter, Eliza, under supervision.

Despite everything that's happened, Natalie feels it's important that her daughter's father maintains a role in her life and upbringing.

Nick Cannon suggests more babies

It's all been a bit quiet on the Mariah Carey front since the twins arrived, but Nick Cannon (Mr Mariah Carey) has recently been speaking about the new additions to their family.

He says that although they're still small, they're already showing their personalities.

"My son Roc lives up to his name. He’s a tough guy. He’s already crawling. And then my daughter, she’s just a diva."

Crawling..? Already? At no more than three months old...?  I don't THINK so!

He also spoke about the possibility of adding more babies to the Carey-Cannon clan.

"I want some, but I think my wife’s done. I tried to say, ‘Yo, let’s go for another round!’ and she’s like, ‘I’ll kill you!"

So that's that then, as we all know who wears the trousers in THAT household!

The Carey/Cannon twins are finally at home and several expectant celeb' mums dress their bumps in pretty summer dresses.

Carey Twins Go Home

Moroccan and Monroe have finally left the hospital and are at home; I really must stop calling them the Carey twins as their surnames are Cannon.

I have no concept of what it must be like to have a baby and then NOT be able to take it home with you; my youngest was born at home so I avoided hospital completely with him.

I do remember how I felt when I was allowed to go home with my eldest; nervous doesn't even come close to describing it and Nick Cannon (Mr Carey) is feeling the same way too,

Speaking to Access Hollywood on Saturday evening, he said, "My twins came home today,I didn't even want to leave, but I had to because I've got to be here."

He went on to say, "It's the first day to have my children at home so I've been loving that.  There's no hospital rooms and there's no nurses, it's just us.  So it's real; a lil' scary at times, but we're handling it."

Keep your eyes peeled for the happy families pictures in all the glossy magazines, we shouldn't have to wait long.

Blooming Bumps

Ok, I know Victoria Beckham isn't in a pretty summer dress - what IS it with her and black? Jeez, girl go for broke and put some colour on!

I suppose wearing a dress and NOT covering her bump with a handbag that could double up as a three-man tent is a step forward though.

She's seven months preggars now and is rumoured to have already hired trainer-to-the-stars Tracy Anderson to help her lose 20 pounds (that's a stone and a half) in four to six weeks after the baby has arrived; I'm all for staying in shape but that's MAD.

In contrast, just look at how amazing Tori Spelling and Selma Blair look in their colourful and floaty maxi-dresses.

Both are 38; Selma Blair's expecting her first baby any day now - there seem to be lots of 'any day now' babies waiting to arrive at the moment - whislt Tori Spelling, who's expecting her third, has a little while longer to go.

She has a son and a daughter already, so both her and her husband (Dean McDermott) have decided to wait until the baby arrives to discover the gender.

Mariah Carey's been investigated by the Child Protection Services for 'drink and drugs' and Myleene takes her daughters to work.

I had to check I hadn't gone back in time to April Fools Day overnight when I read, this morning, that Mariah Carey has been investigated by the US Child Protection Services.

Apparently someone called the agency shortly after she'd given birth to her twins, Morrocan and Monroe, claiming that there was drinking and drug use going on in her hopsital room!

Mariah's husband, Nick Cannon, has spoken out to set the record straight - such a shame he's even had to.

"It all started where a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness or a small amount of Guinness, the dark beer, that the yeast improves breastfeeding," he said. "Then they were saying that my wife was drinking beer and all that stuff. It’s like people would do anything to conjure up a story."

You'll be glad to know that when this was explained to the Child Protection Service officers they too thought it was ridiculous.

I wonder if the four carat diamond necklace Nick gave to Mariah shortly after the babies arrived took the edge of those allegations...?

Myleene Klass

It's all been a bit quite on the Myleene Klass front since she gave birth to her second daughter, Hero, but after six weeks it seems she's ready to 'face the world again' and is back at work; she hosted the Classical Brit Awards on Thursday night.

Myleene put in appearances on This Morning and Loose Women on the same day.

Talking to the Loose Women ladies, Myleene confessed it was weird to be out of pyjamas - I remember that feeling well.

When they commented on her post-baby figure, she said, "I’m wearing big pants… I’ve spent the last six weeks in bed so it’s weird to be here."

She also spoke about work and the conflict that she feels trying to juggle kids with work, "I feel guilty if I'm not working and I feel guilty if I'm not with them."

I don't remember ever feeling THAT, I'm no good at the guilty mother thing.

I'm still waiting for the full-scale glossy Myleene and new baby magazine pictures but for now, this little sneak peak picture of Hero confirms that she's VERY cute!

Yep, after much guessing and speculation these are the names of Mariah Carey's twins!

The little boy has been named Morrocan Scott and the little girl, Monroe.

I'm not sure what I think about them to be honest, lots of Ms that's for sure but with Mariah's name beginning with M it wasn't really a big shock that both kids' names begin with the same initial.

There is, of course, lots of sentimental reasons behind those particular names being chosen, rather than just chosing different names JUST to be different; that's just naff.

Mariah has always been a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe and, apparently, owns the late, great, Marilyn's white piano so Monroe is an obvious choice.

Less obvious is Morrocan; Mariah's named her son after a room in her New York appartment...

The Morrocan Room is where Nick proposed to Mariah and is called that because it has Morrocan inspired decor - fancy that, I'd never have guessed.

I'm not sure how I'd feel if I found out I was named after a room when my sister was named after a 1950s icon, but Morrocan can score a point back because he has a middle name and Monroe doesn't.

Scott is Nick Cannon's middle name and his grandmother's maiden name, so father and son have a nice little name thing going on just between them.  Monroe hasn't been given a middle name because Mariah doesn't have one; or perhaps they just couldn't think of one for her.

Still I suppose it could have been worse, with Mariah's love of Christmas she could have easily stolen the name 'Santa' and REALLY upset Victoria Beckham's potential name plans!

HURRAH!

At last 'dem babies' have arrived.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's twins arrived safely on Saturday 30 April, which just happened to be their third wedding anniversary.

Mariah's spokesperson, Cindi Berger, confirmed the news to The Associated Press, "The singing superstar gave birth Saturday at 12:07 p.m. EDT at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles. Berger says the baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long; her brother was next, at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches."

Oh I do like it when they give all the details we want to know.

However, 'we' had all been led to believe that Mariah and Nick had already chosen names for the twins but this turns out not to be the case.

When I went into labour I was driven in, in order, a blue Metro (my first ever car), a red Metro (my second car) and I had my youngest at home.  Mariah, on the other hand, was driven to the hospital in their Rolls Royce Phantom.

Having already had one false alarm, Mariah thought this time was just another one but apparently her husband, Nick, was so nervous he took her to the wrong hospital department and had to be directed to maternity by a member of staff; cute.

We can expect lots of slushy stuff from Mr and Mrs Cannon (or should that be Mr and Mrs Carey?); Nick has described the birth of his new son and daughter as  'the most incredible anniversary gift', and later tweeted, "I'm in the happiest place I've ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God's Favour!!"

To top off a great weekend for the couple, they renewed their wedding vows at the hospital the day after the twins much, and long, anticipated arrival.

I for one am VERY relieved they're here so I can stop scouting the press for news; next, keeping an eye out for the announcement of their names - my work is never done *grin*

Tell me it doesn't feel that Mariah Carey's been pregnant forEVER!

I'm sure she's having the longest pregnancy in history and if her latest tweet is anything to go by, she's also had enough now.

To celebrate Easter Mariah had a huge Easter egg design painted on her equally HUGE twin baby bump, along with the picture (posted on Twitter) she had this to say...

"HAPPY EASTER! Ummm.. READY!!!!!!!!!!!! Done and done!"

The babies are due in just a few days and Mariah has said that she's ready to be a mummy.

"Being a mother is probably the hardest job in the world. I feel like, in a lot of ways, children come into the world to teach us.  It’s going to be a delicate balance between raising them around glitz and glamour and keeping them grounded.

One thing I’m sure of is that I’ll be grateful for the twins every day, no matter what."

Usually I'd be fed up with all the Mariah twins news and build up but you know what? It's far more interesting than all the Royal Wedding hoohah and I'm secretly hoping the babies will arrive on Friday 29th so I can read about something other than William and Kate!

I'm not one for extravagance - apart from when it comes to sports cars or bikes and then all penny-pinching and bargain basement deals are OFF - especially when it comes to things like nurseries; babies grow up so fast and it just seems like such a waste, I felt mildly reckless when I spent £50 on Mamas & Papas 'Barnaby Bear' nursery things when my youngest was born!

I'm not sure I'd even go massively OTT if I had millions of pounds stashed away in the bank either. That said, I LOVE nosing around other people's nurseries to see what they've chosen and how many things they've bought which they'll discover they really didn't need.

One of the celeb' nurseries 'everyone's' been dying to see is the one which will house Mariah Carey's twins; lucky for us Mariah isn't camera shy and has thrown the nursery doors wide open so we can all have a good look around.

There's not a hint of the traditional 'pink and blue' (hurrah!) instead, Mariah and her husband, Nick, have opted for pale pink and green.

Mariah says, in the nursery expose for Life&Style magazine, "I feel like I’m bringing two individuals into the world, so I wanted to do more than cookie-cutter styles in blue and pink."

She also revealed that the ceiling has orangey-pink clouds in a blue sky with golden stars twinkling.

"It’s based on two songs I wrote that are fan favourites: Underneath the Stars and Close My Eyes," she continued, "Sometimes I just sit in the nursery and stare at the ceiling because I love it so much. To me, it symbolizes wanting my children to dream as big as possible and to let their imaginations be unbridled."

There's also the huge toy giraffe which Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne gave as a baby shower present.

It all sounds, and looks, lovely; it always seems such a shame that babies can't appreciate all the hard work that goes into their nurseries once they've arrived.

Baby showers are huge in the States and Mariah Carey's baby shower was on a scale grand enough to eclipse ALL others that have gone before it - well it wasn't going to be anything else was it!

It was held at the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel, last Sunday, which was decorated in pink and blue balloons as she's having a boy and a girl.

Mariah wore a Roberto Cavalli dress and guests included Piers Morgan (who seems to have become the lovey of the celebrity world, all past journalistic indiscretions seem to have been forgotten or forgiven!) and Randy Jackson of American Idols fame.

Guests enjoyed treated to gourmet pizzas, various appetizers along with banana, chocolate and red velvet cupcakes which, quite frankly sound YUM! I rather like the idea of going to a posh Beverly Hills Hotel to eat pizza and cupcakes rather than caviar and some lavish desert that's unpronouncable.

But it didn't end there; the napkins, servers' aprons and anything else that could be decorated were personalised with the couples' names and pictures of baby carriages.

I'm not necessarily a fan of Mariah Carey but I can't help but smile when I read about all the baby stuff that's going on and, for once, am rather excited about this forthcoming celebrity birth and the HUGE amount of fuss and media furore that will follow it.

Mariah and Nick, her hubby, received lots of pressies from their celebrity friends but it was the one which came from fans that Mariah loved the most.

"Nick and I were so grateful to everyone who came with us to celebrate, there was a lot of love in the room, and to top it off, fans from more than 50 countries sent well-wishes in a book they made for our twins titled 'Always Be My Babies'.

It was a night I will never forget."

I'm sure that when the babies arrive there'll be LOTS of sleepless night for Mariah to remember too.

The twins are due at the end of April, so there's not long to go now - watch this space!

Oooooh there may be trouble ahead in the Carey/Cannnon household in years to come!

Mr Mariah Carey, Nick Canon, has gone on the record and denied that Mariah is having twins.

The rumour mill went into overdrive again when she referred to her baby bump as 'they'.  She's spent a lot of her pregnancy recording her latest Christmas Album and said, "I hope they don't end up hating Christmas!"

In clearing up that little rumour, he had this to say, "That rumour started because she said something about 'they' but she was using the word 'they' as in, like, he and she."

Mariah Carey is a self-confessed Christmas obsessive; she loves it, ADORES it and probably eats, sleeps and breathes it!

I must say, I'm finding it rather amusing that she's featured on the CD cover of her latest festive warblings looking a good 15 years younger than she is and, dare I say it, a few stone lighter even before being preggars!

So where's the trouble!?  WELL, it turns out that Mariah's hubby doesn't want his children to believe in Father Christmas *GASP!*

According to Mariah, on her Twitter page, Nick has been whispering things to her tummy...

"Nick is being SO bleak trying to whisper to my tummy, 'There's no Santa! UGH! Please stop him!!!"

I'm sure it's all pretty tongue-in-cheek, and a compromise does seem to be in the on the cards as Nick explained, "At 3 years old my dad told me there was no Santa. And my wife is Mrs Christmas, so I have to compromise on that."

I rather think you will Mr Cannon!

Just when we thought the rumours surrounding Mariah and her pregnancy were over - a new twist to the Mariah maternity story has emerged!

Could she be expecting TWINS?!

With the preggars rumours flying around for months and months it feels like she's been up the duff for years, and now this little rumour will run and run until Mariah either confirms or denies it.

Of course she may do neither and will just tell anyone who asks, that they'll have to wait and see.

It's all come from a, seemingly, throw-away comment she made during an interview with Radio Disney...

"...I just hope they don't turn out hating Christmas!" she said, when she revealed that she found out she was expecting when she started to record her Christmas album.

The other BIG area of speculation surrounding 'The Mariah Pregnancy' is the due date.

This is being v e r y firmly kept under wraps, as was her baby bump during a recent performance at the Rockerfeller Centre in New York (mind you, you can't blame her, it's a tad chilly in New York at the moment!).

Mariah is a self-confessed Christmas fanatic - could we see an Christmas Day induction perhaps...?  Or would that be taking things a little too far?

Carey's Conception Secrets

After keeping schtum for so long about the pregnancy, Mariah Carey has already revealed a bit more - her conception secrets!

After a miscarriage, in 2008, her medical team advised her to relax and not get stressed if she wanted to become pregnant again - easier said than done I'd imagine!

The secret to success with this for the Carey couple was accupuncture and eating lots of popcorn in bed, with hubby Nick, whilst watching movies and TV series!

She's also commented on being worried about the birth and privacy issues. Any woman who's had a baby knows that all privacy and dignity goes RIGHT out the window the moment you jump on the motherhood bandwagon.

Mariah's already exploring booking out a whole delivery suite...who's willing to bet money on it becoming the entire hospital before long!

A new Holly Willoughbaby

Yesterday, live on This Morning, Holly Willoughby announced that she's expecting her second child next May.

I can't believe she's only 29 years old, it feels like she's been on our TV screens FOREVER! And she keeps popping up everywhere too.

Holly is married to TV producer Dan Baldwin (ha! I write that as if I know who he is, I haven't got a clue!) and the new baby will be a brother or sister to Harry, who was born in May 2009.

I wonder if this baby will end up sharing the same birthday as Max? I've got two that do and they wouldn't recommend it!  Neither would I, it makes for a very expensive day of the year *sigh*

I've been keeping an sharp look out for any baby news from the Mariah Carey camp and HURRAH! At LONG last she's decided to stop keeping mum about the whole pregnancy thing.

It's been getting rather tedious, I must confess, reading endless teasing quotes and dropped hints here and there - but there has been a good reason for it.

Mariah suffered a miscarriage back in 2008 and both her and hubby, Nick Cannon, were left devestated...naturally.

"Literally, the day we were supposed to travel to Aspen we had an ultrasound," Nick said, "'unfortunately that was the time when the doctor said, "I'm sorry but the pregnancy is unsuccessful"

The couple flew to Aspen anyway and put a brave face in front of friends and family despite having just received such heartbreaking news.

Recalling that time, Mariah says the tragic news brought her and her husband closer together, "It was really sad. We had really to absorb this... We really learned a lot just as people. It kind of shook us both and took us to a place that was really dark and difficult."

Mariah also revealed that she's exhausted and suffering with morning sickness - urgh, she has my sympathy with that, morning sickess is just hideous! - but is VERY excited at the prospect of being a mummy.

However, some things are still being kept under wraps - the due date! Mariah won't be drawn on revealing when that is, saying it's still early.

But with Mariah you never can tell - what's 'early' in Mariah Carey land?

Not being one to readily dish the dirt, the next thing we'll know is the baby will have arrived and be three months old already! Either way, the rumour mill has finally been able to breathe a huge sigh of relief and gone off for a much needed Carey coffee break!

So that was that kindest way I could think of phrasing it - it was either that or Massive Mariah!

Curvey Carey

The 'is-she-isn't-she pregnant?' rumours which have surrounded Mariah Carey, for what feels like f-o-r-e-v-e-r, have just reached another level.

Pictures of her during a recent performance in Brazil have got everyone (well, everyone who cares anyway) all excited again, but there's still no official word from the Carey camp other than the odd teasing suggestion here and there.

It's getting rather tedious, in my opinion, and before too long, if there is a big announcement made, no one will be interested any more and that would be a bit sad.

So, not only is Mariah looking incredibly round and voluptuous but WHO on earth put her in those clothes?!  Were they having a laugh?!

If you compare this possibly-pregnant wardrobe to, say, Alicia Keys' definitely pregnant wardrobe one is far more tasteful than the other - although, there was that rather unflattering jump-suit that she wore on stage a couple of months ago.

Has Mariah just been at the pies a bit too often lately or is she preggars?

Poor Sandra Bullock, she's discovered the delight that is the torture of sleep deprivation and Mariah announces that it's a GIRL!

Whilst you WEREN'T sleeping!

Back in May we revealed that Sandra Bullock had secretly adopted a cute little chap named Louis.

It seems that even frequently surviving on three hours sleep a night (I know what that's like!) hasn't done anything to dampen her new-found motherhood spirits and she's more smitten with him every day; she's also learning LOADS!

"I have been surprised by the fact that I really only need 3 hours of sleep," she says, "I have learned that a little person screaming at the top of his lungs can mean six things…and I will figure out which one it is and fix it."

I rejoiced in the revelation that Sandra's well and truly in the motherhood game, no staff or nannies employed to do the 'dirty work' so she can just enjoy all the nice cute bits, Sandra is very clear on that matter, "I don’t want anyone else to have the pleasure of changing poopy diapers but me!"

Mariah Announces 'It's a GIRL!' on Twitter

Last week, we mused over the rumours as to whether Mariah Carey is, or isn't, pregnant.

Now maybe I'm just reading far too much into everything but her Twitter announcement made earlier that 'It's a GIRL!' was surely designed to tease us further!

However, it was with reference to her dog 'ChaCha' who had just had a little girl puppy...

"ChaCha just had her baby! Its a girl! Anybody want a beautiful Jack Russell puppy?!"

I'm not a huge fan of dogs that are smaller than my cat, but I have to admit that this picture of ChaCha with her new daughter and a little toy pig is pretty cute.  The puppy doesn't have a name yet and is simply being called 'DaBaby'....hmmm, another baby reference (I'd make a great conspiracy theorist!) is there mischief behind that name too I wonder....?

Who knows?  But it's quite fun guessing.

Ooooh the rumourmongers are at it again!  This time it's Mariah Carey in the spotlight...well where else is she going to be?

Double-trouble for Mariah?

Can you believe that Mariah Carey is 41?  She's another celeb' who doesn't seem to age and to my knowledge she's not indulged in any cosmetic surgery malarky...let me know if you know different.

Infamous for being one of the biggest divas on the planet and having an enormous 4 octave vocal range the pop superstar is keeping remarkably schtum about her pregnancy status and rumours abound that if she IS preggars, there are not one but TWO little Mariahs on the way.

A couple of years ago, she married Nick Cannon (29) and he's been dropping hints like mad lately; whether they are or aren't expecting I'm sure he's having more than a little bit of fun adding fuel to the rumour-fire (I think I would to)...

“I’m pretty sure that when my wife is ready to make any announcement it won’t be to the media, to the public, first. She’ll tell her family, she’ll tell her friends, and then, you know, when she’s ready to share with the rest of the world, who is her extended family and friends, then she’ll let everybody know.”

In response to Mariah's abrupt pull-out of starring in Tyler Perry's new movie (adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf) a rep said, "She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to. More than that I cannot comment further.” OOOOOH!
