Of all the Ben 10 things my youngest has, he doesn’t have this Ben 10 Alien Force 3-piece luggage set.

He could do with it to be honest as he quite often goes away with his dad and he’s yet to perfect the male art of travelling light, every toy and book he possess MUST go with them.

The nearest price rival for this Terrance Trunki ride on suitcase is Amazon who are selling him for £25, then Argos and the rest of the gang for the full retail sheebang of £30.

We love all the Trunki ride on suitcases here at PlayPennies, they are ingenious little things and make travelling with kids just that little bit more fun.

A quick look-see around Internet land would suggest that John Lewis has these Trunki BoostApak travel booster seats on sale for the same price BUT you will pay for delivery, unless you can go and collect it from the store; the remaining usual suspects are all selling them for the full retail price.

A Trunki BoostApak travel booster seat before is an interesting combination of a booster seat and a backpack and rather ingenious, I think.

The law requires all children under 12 years old, or 135cm in height, to use a booster seat - my oldest two were mortified when this law came in and were most relieved when they were over the height limit!

We all know this particular law makes good car safety sense - not like the 'cram as many kids as you can in the back of the car' ways of my childhood - but it does mean you can be caught short without a booster seat if the unexpected happens; a  Trunki BoostApak is a nice solution.

The Le Coq Sportif set consists of a backpack, gym sack, holdall, satchel and wallet, and are all black and pink with the Le Coq logo on.

The backpack has a 14.5 litre capacity, and weighs just over 300g. It has three external pockets, an adjustable carry strap and twin carry handles.

The gym sack has nylon pull cords and only a 1.46l capacity, making it rather small, but probably okay for a change of clothes.

At some point I’m going to run out of things to say about Trunki Ride-On Suitcases and my posts will just consist of these few words, “OI! Trunkis back on spesh’ offer at Amazon – go and get one if you missed it last time!” What do you mean that would be an improvement on my usual posts?!

I wonder if the designers of the Trunki realised that it was going to take the kiddy luggage market by storm, and have normal, sane and rational grown ups drooling over them at airports like I do when I see one.

Although, when I flew out of Heathrow Airport a few weeks ago (I was one of the lucky ones who managed to dodge the snow) I didn’t spot ONE Trunki!

I'm in the market for luggage!

I've come to the conclusion that people have a definite luggage personality - there are the plain black suitcase on wheels people (that's me) (was £135 and is now £59), the no-wheels-thanks-wheeled-cases-are-for-wimps people (was £49.99 is now £19.99), the travel-light-can-fit-everything-into-a-case-the-size-of-a-postage-stamp people (was £12 is now £7) and the loud HELLO-YOU-CAN'T-MISS-ME luggage people (was £135 and is now £40.50)!
