Krooom Toys Review

Krooom Toys ReviewI still have flat packed shelving I bought when my son was born six years ago that I haven't put together. This doesn't bode well for a flat packed toy! Which is what the playsets from Kroom Toys are. I really did have to try these out though, as they are absolutely everything I have ever wanted in a toy. Joy of joys, they're not made of plastic.

Kroom make products that are eco-friendly. Everything is made from 60% recycled card and all the products are also fully recyclable.

There's a whole range of stuff for children, including storage boxes, play sets and toys. Importantly, the toys look like they're a lot of fun. The toys are distributed in the UK by Little Helper, and you can also buy them directly from their website.

I received the Noah's Ark and Dylan Fire Station to try out. The Noah's Ark playset has an RRP of £24.99. The Dylan Fire Station also has an RRP of £24.99. Delivery on the site costs from £1.99, depending on the size and weight of the items.

Little Helper FunPack Cooking Utensils £3.99 @ Amazon

Little Helper FunPack Cooking Utensils £3.99 @ Amazon

The lovely Little Helper FunPack Cooking Utensil set is currently £3.99 instead of £7.99 at Amazon, giving you a fab 50% off for a very nice little gift, or rather substantial stocking filler for a budding MasterChef.

Have you come across My Daddy Cooks? It’s a fab website by a dad who cooks with his young son, and their videos are really cute to watch. I first saw MDC when my daughter was only a few months old, and since then I’ve been dying to get her involved in the kitchen. Now we do I really take my hat off to that dad for his patience in the kitchen and have really taken to appreciate the value of imaginary food from the play kitchen, so I think this set will make a lovely addition to our collection.

This set comes with a mini apron and toddler-sized utensiils to help mum (and dad) out in the kitchen.  The utensils are a spoon, fork, rolling pin, and whisk and it’s a great way to educate your toddler about the whole food experience, and hopefully get them more interested in eating too.

Zooper Highchair £139 @ Littlehelper

by Sarah Macdonald in Misc on 26 June, 2011 at 11:00 am

Zooper Highchair £139 @ LittlehelperI've come to the conclusion that I'm a little obsessed with high chairs; when a new one comes onto the market I get rather excited.

It's all very odd really as I have absolutely NO need for a high chair, but for some peculiar reason I like to keep my finger on the pulse just to see what I could have had if I was still in the baby market (which I'm most definitely NOT, the continuation of the species is up to everyone else now - I've done my bit).

A press release popped into my inbox the other day for the Zooper Collapsible baby and toddler high chair.

The claims were bold...

A groundbreaking high chair which breaks the mould in terms of style, design and functionality

...is a pioneering new product for the high chair market

Well I HAD to go and have a look!

I LIKE it!

It has all the features you'd expect and want it to have: a five-point safety harness, adjustable footrest, be wipe clean etc but it folds down into a nice small round shape, rather than a long, tall, difficult to fit in small cars shape!

This is VERY handy! If you've ever run the gauntlet of using restaurant high chairs then you'll know that being able to easily take your own high chair out with you is a must.

The tray can be removed and, because of the leg design, it can be pulled up to the table like your ordinary chairs can.

It's suitable for little ones from the age of six months and costs £139, which is less than I paid for a certain wooden high chair that didn't have a collasible part to it.

Groundbreaking? I don't know, but it's certainly got some clever thinking behind it.

FunPod High Chair £109.99 @ Amazon

FunPod High Chair £109.99 @ Amazon

FunPod High Chairs are on sale for £109.99 at Amazon. That's 31% off, or £50, and delivery is free in the UK.

The FunPod High chair is a five-in-one product which can be used as a high chair and a low chair, with or without the tray. It can also be converted into an original FunPod Kitchen Safety Stand for toddlers – in other words, a place for your toddler to stand while you're working in the kitchen.

Its adjustable height means the child can stand at the counter or at the sink, getting involved in what you're doing, without having to stand on a chair – and risk falling off.

There are quick release screws which allow for speedy transformation as baby grows into toddler, and it has an easy-to-clean surface. The high chair can be used from around six months, and the safety stool till around five years.

The set comes with the tools you need to make the changes.

It's still expensive for a high chair, but if I think of the £80-odd we spent on a regular high chair, which does nothing but allow a toddler to sit in it, it's actually pretty good value for money.
