Two White Wood Shelves £8.75 @ Letterbox

Letterbox has a clearance sale on with some amazingly priced items. It's worth checking out. There's not a lot on sale, but the sales are big. One of those are these two-shelf sets, reduced from £35.00 to £8.75 plus postage of £3.50, so £12.25 all together.

I don't know about you, but there's never enough storage in our house. This past summer we did a carboot, nearly new sale, freecycle and even just binned some things, and there still just seems to be so much clutter! There's just never enough space.

With these simple and stylish white painted wood shelves  in children's rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, sitting rooms or even bathrooms, you can at least keep a few things off the floor.  These two wooden shelves are highly versatile, are perfect for all ages and will hold books, toys, DVDs and any other paraphernalia.

They even have a row of useful pegs under the bottom shelf, great for coats, towels or fancy dress.

They are flat packed and apparently easy to assemble.

London Playset In A Bag £7.50 @ Letterbox

London Playset In A Bag £7.50 @ Letterbox

Letterbox has a sale on at the moment with up to 50% off on a range of categories, including toys, children's furniture and more. One of the items in that sale that really caught my eye was the London Playset in a Bag. There are a variety of these on the market, but this one is the brightest and most fun looking, I think. It's reduced from £14.99 to £7.50 with £3.50 delivery charge.

These painted wooden models of London's most famous cultural landmarks and icons, including Buckingham Palace, a red phone box and a double decker bus. Some of the models, such as Big Ben, are made from several stackable wooden blocks. Great for imaginative play, two police constables and a Beefeater figurine are included. The BT Tower is the tallest landmark at 10.5cm tall.

The whole set comes in a drawstring storage bag.

Wet Weather Gear 75% Off @ Letterbox

Wet Weather Gear 75% Off @ Letterbox

Letterbox have a very timely sale on wet weather products for children, with 75% off umbrellas and wellie boots and raincoats.

This weather is pretty abysmal at the moment, and venturing out of the house is a needs-must situation. It’s so wet and cold and windy, it takes forever to get ready and is quite frankly just urgh.

And once we’re out of the house, the weather makes us so limited in where we can go unless we’re properly attired… which is where Letterbox’s sale comes in quite handy – kitting up for the wet season doesn’t have to break the bank.

They have very cute umbrellas, including a Very Hungry Caterpillar Umbrella available for £2.25 instead of £9, and four other fun designs  available from £2.

There are wellies and raincoats available to match the fireman, butterfly, and lucky cat designs, and they are priced at £4 and £5.70 respectively – although stocks are already quite low on these.

Other themes are priced differently, and there’s a £3.50 price tag to the postage, which stings a bit when what you’re buying costs less, but in the grand scheme of things, at 75% off, it’s still a bargain.

Five Toys for £20 @ Letterbox

by Luschka van Onselen in Deals on 26 February, 2012 at 7:00 pm

Five Toys for £20 @ LetterboxThis is a rather unusual offer with savings on odd things. All the toys in the sale range in price from £5 to £10, so if you buy five £10 toys, you could save as much as £30 – if you buy five £5 toys, you still save £5.  Postage is an additional £3.85.

There are a few recognisable toys in this sale and then a few random strange things. You can find, for example, water flutes for £7 – a very similar looking set at ELC is currently £10 -  but of course if you’re buying four other items,  you’re not paying more than £4 for this item.

There’s a play shave set for toddlers to be just like their Daddies… it includes a plastic razor, shaving brush, mirror, comb and hairbrush and ideal for playing in bath time bubbles – and you can see what you’re doing with the mirror that sticks to the side of the bath.

You could also improve your masterchef skills with the Usborne Children’s Cook book – great for beginners of all ages. £8.99 on it’s own, you’ll still only be paying £4 for this in conjunction with the other toys.

I don’t know about you, but we have enough friends and parties coming up that having a few ‘across the ages and stages’ gifts in the cupboard is never a bad idea!
