Yes I know this is about Jordan AGAIN, but every so often I read something positive from the Price/Andre camp that makes me see a glimmer of hope for their kiddies.

Christmas can be tough if you're juggling two families when you're NOT an attention-seeking media hungry individual.

But Jordan's latest statement that she's taking the kids out of the public eye and her claim to want a 'normal childhood' for them, seems to be backed up with the news that she and 'Peader' are going to spend a few hours together, as a family, with the kids!

One of those useful sources was quoted in the Daily Star as saying,

"The children are now at an age when they are fully aware of what is going on, so for their sakes Kate and Peter have decided to put on a show of union.  It's been a tough year for them both, but they are determined not to ruin Christmas for the kids. They will both be on their best behaviour."

Call me old-fashioned, but shouldn't they be on their best behaviour as far as the kids are concerned anyway?!

It does take both sides to be willing to remain a strong 'family unit' when it comes to anything to do with children, but it's not impossible.

Perhaps this is a turning point...?  Or perhaps this will be more like the World War One Christmas Truce, with the gloves coming back off after all the mince pies have been eaten and the wrapping paper thrown away.

Fingers crossed for 5-year-old Junior, 3-year-old Princess Tiaamii and 8-year-old Harvey, that it's the beginning of happier times!

I had to laugh at Jennifer Lopez's reported surprise at how fast her twins are growing...they're only three!

Talking to US Weekly she said, "Over this Thanksgiving week, I was sitting outside and reflecting on how fast this year had passed. Watching your kids get bigger - my babies, how much they've grown in a year!"

Just wait until they hit 16 Jennifer then you'll know what it's like to feel that time has flown.

Mind you, when they're throwing hormone-charged grief and aggro at you,  you'll wish time would speed up just a little more so they can pack their bags and LEAVE HOME!

Jordan's Meal Ticket Kids

I laughed even louder when I read that Katie Price has decided to withdraw her kids from public life, because she wants them to have a 'normal childhood'

Posting on Twitter, she said, “I start filming for my new reality show this week. Junior and Princess won’t be in any of my shows or any photo shoots again. I want to withdraw them from the public eye as I want them to have as normal a childhood as possible.”

Normal childhood?  With her as a mother?  Unlikely, I'd say!

I'm glad I don't have some of the 'pals' that Jordan has, they are continually dishing the dirt. Oh hang on! That's what they're SUPPOSED to do, silly me!

According to these 'pals' who spoke to Closer, Jordan's sudden change of attitude is down to wanting to be a 'better parent' (oooh where shall we start?!)...

“Jordan got upset after watching an episode of Pete’s reality show last week. She’s not over him and as much as she tries to pretend she’s moved on, she hasn’t. But then she got angry with herself for being upset.

She started ranting about how the kids featured in nearly the entire show, and how hypocritical it was that Pete  was always implying she was a bad mum.

Ever since Pete blasted her for allowing Princess to wear make-up and false eyelashes in February, she’s been fed up of being made to look bad.”

The best bit by far though was this, when she discovered that Junior would be involved in Pete's forthcoming tour...

“She went berserk," revealed the 'pal', "saying she was their mum and should have some control. She said: ‘They’re children, we shouldn’t risk using them a meal ticket.’"

HAHAHAA!!!  Risk it? You've been doing it for y e a r s!

Now, I'm all for everyone having the right to choose what they do with their lives. But when those choices are NOT good and they impact on children, then I start to wonder whether some people just shouldn't be allowed to procreate at ALL!

"My daughter love Sandra more than me!"

This is the lament of Jesse James' ex-wife. Porn star and self-confessed drug addict, Janine Lindemulder, is currently fighting for custody of her six-year-old daughter, Sunny.

In documents lodged with the court late last week, she complained, "All Sunny talks about is Sandy, Sandy!"

She also went on to say, "I am so depressed. Sun is suffering. I can't even find the energy to play with her. It's 9:30 and I don't even know what she ate today... Not being awake makes everything better."

Lindemulder has also admitted she agreed to spend the night with a man for $25,000...yep, all looking GREAT there for winnng custody Janine and I can't possibly see why on EARTH your daughter would prefer to be with Sandra Bullock than you!

No Alcohol for Jordan

Talking of people who should procreate, Jordan and Alex held their umpteenth wedding farce at the weekend - I've lost track of how many weddings, blessings and curses they seem to have had already.

Jordan has fuelled the rumour-fire that she might be pregnant already by not touching a drop of alcohol for the entire day; I am truly scared, please let this not be true, please don't let another innocent  little person be born into this hateful pantomime.

I really couldn't care less, but apparently the day was full of the anticipated drama and digs at Pete - who must thank his lucky stars EVERY day he wakes up not being married to her anymore.

Oh, and 'behind the scenes' - would someone like to tell me when Jordan does ANYTHING behind the scenes..? - Katie is scared that Alex is going to cheat on her. That Source with the big mouth has been blabbering to the press again saying, "Alex insists he's in love with her but she's convinced he'll end up cheating."

You know, I wouldnt' be surprised if 'the Source' isn't one day revealed as being Katie herself...

(it also amuses me greatly that it looks like she's eating cheese and pineapple on a stick in the above photograph - class!)

IVF for Jordan and Alex

They say there's nothing money can't buy and ohhh how I wish this was the case with Jordan and IVF!  The thought of there being another child caught up in the circus that is the life of Ms Price and Co is just too much to bear.

Alex and Jordan have been spotted popping in and out of the Portland Hospital and a 'close friend' had this to say to the News of the World:

"Katie and Alex really want a child to cement their relationship. But he’s had a problem with a low sperm count and it is proving difficult for Katie to conceive. They’ve been practising a lot but it appears Alex is firing blanks, so Katie has turned to IVF to help make it happen.”  URGH, far too much information thank you 'close friend'!

I was in South Africa recently and thank goodness not many people there know who she is because quite frankly I'd deny my status as a British female citizen if anyone assumed us UK girls were all like her!  There's no denying she's a shrewd business woman but I wish she'd use some of her cash to buy some dignity and self-respect!

Baby No.3 for Gwen Stefani?

I like Gwen Stefani.  I like the quiet dignity that she has when it comes to her family; you don't see every second of her life splashed all over the papers or on the TV, she and Gavin just get on with their lives with their kids and their careers and shows there really are two different classes of celebrity:  the tacky desperate ones and the dignified secure ones.

As a celeb' who chooses to try and maintain some degree of privacy it's got to be tough when you're expecting, knowing that as soon as news of it gets out the world's media are going to be keeping an even closer beady eye on you.

Gwen was photographed in New York in very baggy clothes, sporting what looks like a baby bump and wearing a Sea-Band bracelet which is used to combat motion and morning sickness; an 'onlooker' has been reported as saying:

"She was pulling at her shirt to keep it away from her body. It seemed really strange -- but then, when she turned to the side, I could see why. She definitely had a baby bump!"

And a 'source' has added fuel to the 'is-Gwen-preggars?' fire by revealing to OK! magazine:

"Gwen is having a really rough time this pregnancy. She had all-day morning sickness for a while with Zuma, but she's sicker this go-round and has been feeling exhausted and dizzy."

Gwen's publicist is keeping mum on the subject so we'll just have to wait and see!
