Jackson Reece Wipes 99p @ Sainsbury’s Online

Jackson Reece Wipes have been reduced from £1.98 to 99p for 72 wipes. I’m not sure if this is available in store at all, but it’s a brilliant price for what I think are the best wipes on the market.

The wipes from Jackson Reece have made an appearance on PlayPennies from time to time, and for good reason – they’re fab.

We reviewed the wet wipes and the flushable wipes and the only downside to them, in my view, is that they’re usually double the price of whatever’s on the shelf next to them.

With this sale, that’s not a problem, as they’re about the same, but a better quality, stronger and last longer. We also tend to use less wipes when we use these as they are quite wet.

Standard delivery in the UK is £3.95, but click and collect is free of charge.

If anyone has seen these in store, do let us know if they’re half-price there too –it’s certainly worth the £1 parking at my local!

Jackson Reece Wet Wipes 99p @ Sainsbury’s

Jackson Reece wet wipes are discounted to 99p a pack at Sainsbury’s at the moment, which is 50% off and is fantastic value in my opinion.

Jackson Reece wet wipes are unscented and fragrance free. They are biodegradable, compostable and chlorine-free. They contain to SLS, SLES, Parabens, alcohol or lanolin. The packaging is recyclable, and there are no chemicals harmful to sensitive skin.

You can read Tamsin's  Jackson Reece wipes review from last year, calling them the “Ferrari of wipes” and I have to agree. They are my favourite wipes on the market.

That said, I have never yet found them in store anywhere, and only ever get to buy them online. In this case at 99p a pop, they’re great value. Five bags will cost £4.95, but delivery will cost £3.95, so unfortunately, unless you’re buying masses, it’s not the best option and if they don’t stock them in your local store, you’re out of luck.

If you’re adding this to your regular shop or can click and collect, however, it’s a fantastic deal.

Jackson Reece Wet Wipes 2 For 1 @ Tesco Extra

Jackson Reece Wet Wipes 2 For 1 @ Tesco Extra

Jackson Reece wet wipes are on a two for one offer at Tesco Extra stores at the moment, making them £2.49 for two packs.

I'll admit that I'm totally biased: I'm a big Jackson Reece wet wipe fan. They are my favourites by leaps and bounds, leaving all other baby wipes in the dust. Having a child with extremely sensitive skin, I discovered Jackson Reece when I was desperate for something that didn't cause or exacerbate her skin condition, which rival products that contain SLS did.

Jackson Reece wipes are unscented and fragrance free. They are biodegradable, compostable and chlorine-free. They contain to SLS, SLES, Parabens, alcohol or lanolin. We've reviewed both their flushable and original wipes here on PlayPennies, and I still think they're the best wipes on the market.

The packaging is recyclable, and there are no chemicals that are harmful to sensitive skin. The wipes are moister than most, and tend to remain so, which is apparently down to the packaging.

The only problem I've often had with Jackson Reece wipes is finding them. While they are available in some Sainsbury's and some Mothercare stores, they never were around me, so I had to order them online. Knowing I can now find them in Tesco Extra too, and at two for one, is fantastic news.

This offer is valid till the 12th of April.

Jackson Reese Flushable Wipes Review

Jackson Reese Flushable Wipes Review

I recently reviewed the flushable wipes that I got from Method and really enjoyed them. The only downside was that they got dry quite quickly and the top didn’t reseal very well. Now I’ve just had the chance to play around with the Jackson Reece flushable wipes and I must say that I really like them too.

To start with, the pack that they come in is degradable. That’s just fab. And the wipes themselves are made from entirely organic ingredients so they’re gentle on your hands and skin. At first I thought these were also for cleaning the loo so it’s a good thing I opened them up.

Anyway! The Jackson Reece flushable wipes are just lovely if you don’t like the idea of using scary chemicals on your baby’s bottom. They have Tea Tree oil, aloe vera and lavender in them and they are free from alcohol, lanolin and parabens. I suffer from excema on my hands and I noticed a difference pretty quickly after using these. My daughter has very sensitive skin and these didn't affect her the way other brands sometimes do.

These flushable wipes will completely degrade within eight days of being whisked down the loo and are made from 99% vegetable or plant extracts, including the preservatives. Am rather curious as to what that missing 1% is made of though.

Jackson Reese Flushable Wipes Review They are, however, a bit of a nightmare to haul out of the packet. I had to wrestle the first one out of there with both hands. A no-no for the mum covered in poo. But boy do they smell yummy. Seriously, I could sniff them all day.

While the Jackson Reece flushable wipes are not easy to snatch in an emergency, and they cost 92p for a pack of 10 (ouch!), they are really luxurious, soft and environmentally friendly.
