I've grown up with horses; I started riding when I was four-years-old and have been in love with the long-tailed, four-legged, pointy-eared beasts ever since.  When I was little I couldn't get enough of horses and ponies and would have loved one of these Animagic Toffee ponies to play with when I was away from my real one (his name was Minder).

I haven't watched little kids' TV for ages; my youngest son is very into Garfield and Scooby Doo at the moment and is a 'grown-up' for Little Charley Bear now, so I went off and did a quick bit of investigating.

I became a big fan of Lamaze toys when my mum bought my youngest son a Lamaze Octunes for his first Christmas.

I admit it, I prefer REAL books; the ones that have pages made from paper that make a lovely sound when you turn them.

But with reading standards in the UK well below what they should be for lots of kids, I'm happy to go with anything that inspires a love of reading books regardless of their format.

Ohhh my youngest would have loved this a couple of years ago; he adores all things 'digger and dump trucks'' but has moved on to more 'grown up' Lego Technic versions now - that's what he's reliably informed me anyway.
