Inspiration Works Wannabe Vet £3.89 @ Amazon

Amazon are offering the Inspiration Works Wannabe Vet play set for £3.89 instead of £17.99, which is a whopping 78% discount. The reviews (two of them) are not great, but customer reviews are subjective, I guess.

The Inspiration Works Wannabe Vet playset is an electronic game with a screen and moving pieces. There's an operation table that can be plugged into the LCD to activate the vet's monitor and give each of the animals a thorough check up. You can monitor the heartbeat, temperature, weight and take an x-ray.

There are a few different games you can play, such as matching heads and bodies, walking the dog or 'kiss a cat'.

Because of small pieces this set is suited to children aged three and over. It may not last terribly long, but at this price is a fantastic stocking filler or pass the parcel gift.

Bob The Builder Learning Station £10 @ TescoTesco have a Bob The Builder Learning Station on offer at £10. It doesn't say what the regular price is, but the same thing is currently on sale for £15.99 at Amazon (including delivery.) Delivery from Tesco is £ but is free with Click and Collect.

The Bob The Builder Learning Station is a toy with seven game modes. It has a dial in the middle that allows your little one to choose a game, which is played by hitting the correct button. The game aims to be visually stimulating with images of Bob's machine friends and feature a variety of options to help your child develop their vocabulary and language skills.

The Bob The Builder Learning Station is aimed at children aged 2 and over and is designed with a built in 'carry handle' for when you're out and about, or off for a long drive in the car.

Annoyingly I can't seem to find much information on what the games entail, but Inspiration Works generally have very good toys and games, so there's not much to worry about, I think! It has really good reviews from parents on the website too.

Peppa Pig My First Laptop £14.99 @ Amazon

Peppa Pig's My First Laptop has 40% off at the moment if you nab it from Amazon. It's reduced from £24.99 to £14.99, saving exactly £10 and comes with free delivery. The next best price seems to be The Entertainer, where it's going for £22.99 including delivery.

My daughter had a very similar laptop to this which she received from my parents for her first birthday. She absolutely loved it, especially since it was her first 'noisy' toy. It was wonderful and also felt that while the colours and names of things were educational, as she definitely 'got' those mentioned on the laptop before any others.

This particular offering from Inspiration Works teaches colour recognition, numbers, quantities, letters, expressions, emotions, animals, shapes and objects. It has four modes to explore the world of Peppa Pig, including Discover, Music and Quizzes.

Additionally, it has a backlit screen that displays images and noises and sounds are there to help make learning fun.

Peppa Pig Bingo £5.79 @ Amazon

Peppa Pig Bingo £5.79 @ Amazon

The Inspiration Works Peppa Pig Bingo is on sale at Amazon for 61% off, reduced from £14.99 to £5.79.

There’s actually a really good explanation of the Peppa Pig Bingo from the only review on Amazon.

Apparently, “this is a sound-recognition bingo game for 2-4 players. Each player chooses one of the 4 plastic game boards (Emily, Pedro, Peppa, Danny) There are 2 variations - "object sounds" and "occupations sounds". Players decide which variation they want to play and turn their game boards to the correct side (one side has only object pictures, the other has only occupations pictures).

According to Kip, the reviewer, “You select the variation on the central unit using a slider button, and each player presses his character button on the central unit. Then the game starts. Each player takes turns to press the buzzer on the central unit. The unit will play a sound. If a player has the related button on his game board, he will press the corresponding button down.Once the game is over (one of the players presses down his last button), the unit ie Peppa will announce the winner.

Kip says its an enjoyable game, with the only two downsides being you can’t let your child win, and you have to stick the stickers on yourself, the right sticker in the right place.

Inspiration Works Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Magical Laptop £6.25 @ Amazon

There’s a massive 75% off of the Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Magical Laptop from Inspiration Works at Amazon today. The RRP is £24.99, but they’re selling at £6.25, which is a fantastic £18.74 saving.

The Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Magical Laptop is illustrated with four game modes and comes with a special ‘magic wand’ to answer the questions.  You can hear the voices of Ben and Holly and all their friends and listen to music too.

There are four reviewers on Amazon for this product and they’ve all given it 5 stars saying that it is a robust toy, safe with no sharp edges, easy to pick up and handle and very durable.

According to one of them, it has ‘great sounds and many functions’, which is always useful and while the guide says suitable for children over three (probably because of the wand), recipients from the age of two and up to the age of four seem to love it.

It seems to be a great buy for any Ben and Holly fan.
