Snack Highchair £29.90 @ Kiddicare

Kiddicare have started their sales early and one of the items you can pick up for half price is the Snack Highchair for just £29.90 instead of £60.

The Snack highchairs are available in Green, Red, and Purple apples, Sapphire blue, Meadow green, Amethyst purple, and Daisy yellow – which are all fabulous unisex colours. There are plenty items in stock – the Green Apples highchair, for example has over 800 in stock!

The Snack Highchairs are suitable from 6 months of age, and have a full safety harness and padded seating in high quality PVC. They wipe clean, as does the plastic tray.  There’s a foot rest for dangly feet too and what looks like non-slip grips on the legs of the chair.

When not in use they are pretty compact folding away quite flat, making them easy to store behind a sofa or door.

Annoyingly you have to spend another .09p to qualify for free delivery, but there are near on 600 items for under £5 if you want to top up your spend on something useful, rather than paying the £4.95 for delivery.

Phil and Teds Me Too Chair £25.56 @ Tesco

Phil and Teds Me Too Chair £25.56 @ TescoTesco Direct are selling this Phil and Teds Me Too chair for £25.56 instead of £31.95.

Although I wouldn't mosey, I'd go a bit quicker than that because having just had a quick scout around the Internet this is the lowest price for a Phil and Teds Me Too chair that I can find, and they're such a good idea I can't see it staying in stock for very long.

I think these alternatives to high chairs are such a great idea and, sitting here writing this deal, I can only wonder why on earth it is that I never had one!

High chairs are a necessity but they can be big and expensive and they're not exactly travel friendly. Not only that, they can leave your child feeling a bit remote from everyone else sitting at the table as they're just that can't get super close in a traditional high chair.

This Phil and Teds Me Too chair is an adaptable and portable high chair that can fit almost any bench or table top; genius.

It means your child can sit AT the table instead of a little bit away from it and it's ultra portable too, no more having to run the gauntlet of the, often, less than savoury restaurant high chairs.

The Me Too chair has a lightweight yet very strong design for great durability  and when you want to store it away, it will pack down to only 25mm thick for easy fitting into the basket of your buggy or change bag; I almost want one even though I have NO need for a Phil and Teds Me Too chair whatsoever!

The First Years 3 in 1 Booster Seat £12.99 @ Amazon

The First Years 3 in 1 Booster Seat £12.99 @ AmazonFingers crossed that Amazon leave the price of this First Years 3 in 1 Booster Seat alone long enough for you to get your hands on one at £12.99, instead of £29.99, because they're a great.

The First Years 3 in 1 Booster Seat is suitable for young ones from 6 months of age onwards.

It's a GREAT alternative to a high chair if you're really tight for space at home, to keep at the grandparents house or if you go out to eat a lot - high chairs in restaurants can be a bit hit and miss, and even if there are some available some can be -  how can I put this nicely? - less than 'savoury'!

It folds easily for travel or storage and has a quick one-hand release. The seat’s serving tray fits on top to ensure a clean eating surface, whilst I'm all for a bit of dirt being good for boosting the immune system, I prefer it to be my 'own' dirt.

The First Years 3 in 1 Booster Seat can be placed on a regular chair and makes feeding your little one easy and convenient; safety straps hold your baby in to prevent them from falling or slipping out.

It also allows older little ones to sit at the table too and feel very grown up along with everyone else.
