I can recite The Gruffalo in my sleep but I'm not at all familiar with the sequel - The Gruffalo's Child.

Apparently, one dark night the Gruffalo's child disobeys her father’s warnings and ventures out into the snow. After all, the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist . . . does he?

It sounds AWESOME and I might just have to buy myself my youngest a copy; he's a little bookworm and really enjoys all the other Julia Donaldson books he has.

The Monkey Puzzle is about a baby monkey who's lost his mother, can Butterfly help him find her?

Yes, but only after a lot of trial and error as Butterfly misunderstands Monkey's descriptions and leads him to all kinds of animals which clearly AREN'T his mother; my son never fails to find this utterly hilarious, "Silly butterfly!" he says.

Well I'm not sure actually as the delivery pricing has confused me!  Have a look HERE - it says, for books:

Your guess is as good as mine!  But with a WHSmith store in, pretty much, every town, I'd just go and collect it for free the next time you're passing.

I always love signing in to HUKD and finding something I’m actually looking for on offer. It’s such a ‘yay’ moment knowing I’ve saved money – for a change!

I’ve been looking for a height chart for my daughter, and this looks lovely. While the description says ‘colours may vary’, it can’t be that different, can it! Either way, I’m just thrilled to find one that isn’t predominantly pink or covered in princesses or fairies.

With measurements from 50cm to 130cm it’s not the largest one you’ll find and some of the reviewers mentioned needing something else to start off with – not a problem here as my daughter was born at 52cm.

One short coming of this height chart is being able to write dates on it, but I’m sure a good fabric pen will take care of that.
