Hauck Turnaround Highchair £34.95 @ Kiddisave

Hauck Turnaround Highchair £34.95 @ Kiddisave

Discounted from £89.99 to just £34.95, there’s a good £55 and a random 4p off this Hauck Turnaround Highchair at Kiddisave.

The turnaround 3 in 1 has three separate, multi-functional details. It rotates 360 degrees and is suitable for children up to 15kg. For safety sake, it has a 5-point seat belt to keep your toddler secure and well protected.

It also comes with a detachable play and food tray which makes for easy cleaning.

A very cool feature of this chair is that the seat unit can be removed from its stand and be used as a booster seat on commercial chairs, using a belt to attach it to the chair. While they say this is great for ‘out and about’ I’m not sure how practical that is, but it certainly helps as your child gets older and wants to be part of the dinner table, rather than next to it.

Another highlight of the turnaround 3 in 1 is the removable base. It serves as a stool and increases your childs height for access to higher areas. The stool is sturdy and non-slip.

Overall this seems like a really versatile and useful highchair and this is a fantastic price!

Hauck Winnie The Pooh 6-Piece Travel System £144.99 @ Babies R Us

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 19 August, 2011 at 9:00 am

Hauck Winnie The Pooh 6-Piece Travel System £144.99 @ Babies R UsBabies R Us are selling this Hauck Winnie the Pooh 6-piece travel system for £179.99, with this 20% discount code - 9908080259992 - YOU can have it for £144.99 instead; marvellous.

Now, on the Babies R Us site it says that this 6-piece Winnie the Pooh travel system has been reduced from £359.99 - whether or not this is a general reflection of the original price I don't know, or whether it was sold for £359.99 in an obscure Babies R Us store on a far flung Shetland Isles for 6 weeks sometime last year - you know how these 'was originally sold for' things work.

BUT what I can tell you, having looked around, is this - Amazon and Kiddicare don't have this in stock and aren't displaying prices; the next cheapest I could find was from sprogsonline.co.uk for £159.98, so if, for some reason, the code doesn't work for you, you can pop over there instead.

Right, now that's out of the way, let me tell you what you'll get for your money...

This Hauck Winnie the Pooh Shopper Travel System has everything you'll need when you're venturing out into the big wide world with your new baby.

The stroller is super lightweight, has a sturdy frame and extra large wheels for negotiating curbs and uneven pavements and other bumpy surfaces.

It has a practical storage tray attached to the handle grip - they say, to 'keep the baby bottle always at your fingertip', if it fits a take-away coffee in there I'd go for that instead!

There is the pre-requisite 5-point safety harness and a double-sided parking brake.

It comes complete with a group 0+ car seat, footmuff, changing bag & raincover - using the integrated adapters on the armrests of the stroller you can attach to the car seat to the top, thus turning it into a travel system.

Delivery is free or you can arrange to collect your 6-piece Winnie The Pooh Travel System from your nearest Toys R Us.

Hauck Winnie the Pooh Travel Cot £39.99 @ Tesco Direct

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 11 September, 2010 at 8:00 am

Hauck Winnie the Pooh Travel Cot £39.99 @ Tesco DirectMorning! Tesco have a Hauck Winnie the Pooh travel cot on offer at the moment, it's been reduced by half price and is now a rather lovely £39.99 instead of £79.99.

A travel cot is an essential piece of baby/small toddler kit in my opinion.

Unless you're going to be a hermit for the first five years of your child's life and never stay away from home,OR have your child sleep in bed with you when you are away then you're going to need a travel cot.

They fold up into a ridiculously small size compared to how big they are when they're open; they are great for keeping at the grandparent's house so that they're ready to take on overnight duties at the drop of a hat too *grin*

This Hauck Winnie the Pooh travel cot comes with a carry bag to zip everything in to and it has mesh sides, allowing you to see in and keep an eye on your baby without having to loom over the sides and it means they can see out too.

It has a removeable play bag on one end for stashing toys, comes with a toy bar which has three soft Winnie the Pooh toys that dangle from it, and is suitable from birth.

You can arrange to collect in store or pay the £5.95 home delivery charge.

Hauck Travel Cot £26.99 @ Toys R Us

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 22 June, 2010 at 8:00 am

Hauck Travel Cot £26.99 @ Toys R UsHave baby - will travel!

Unless you suddenly morphed into a hermit when you had your baby and don't intend to stay anywhere overnight until they are at least 18 years old, then you'll need a travel cot.

They are the most genius invention and one of the things I'd put on my 'must have' baby items list if I were ever asked to write one!

They can be a little bit pricey and it's easy to get sucked into the little extra bits and pieces that manufacturers will have you believe are essential; but you don't NEED the hanging toys, the bit that plays 10 of the most popular nursery rhymes or flashing lights; honestly, you don't.

This Hauck travel cot is nice and simple, does what it needs to do and as a result the price of £26.99 is pretty spot on.

Hauck Travel Cot £26.99 @ Toys R UsIt all folds down and comes in its own carry bag, the sides are mesh so you can see through to the inside and your baby can see through to the outside.

The dimensions are: 103 (l) x 73 (w) x 75 (h) cm and standard delivery will cost you £4.95 or you could scoot in to your nearest Toys R Us and see if they have one in stock you buy there and then.

Happy travelling!

Hauck Alpha Grow With You Wooden Highchair £35.75 @ Amazon

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 7 June, 2010 at 5:30 pm

Hauck Alpha Grow With You Wooden Highchair £35.75 @ AmazonOH this is a BARGAIN!

Having had three kids I reckon I know a bit about highchairs - I've had the usual big metal-framed ones with the enormous plastic tray at the front and they were fine, except the occupant couldn't properly sit AT the table with everyone else as they were marooned in a sort of no-mans land; at the table once-removed if you will.

So I decided that for the youngest (4 next month, I can't believe it!) we'd get a wooden high chair like this so he could actually have his bowl/plate and cup etc ON the table and really be right there in the thick of meal times.

I bought another well-known make of highchair that's just like this one *wink* and it cost me the best part of £100.  I didn't mind spending the money because they ARE awesome chairs and it did/does exactly what I wanted it to do, but if I could have got something pretty much identical to it for almost a third of that price I WOULD have!

So these chairs adapt as your child grows because you can move the seat and footrest up and down so it's a perfect fit for them between the ages of 6 months and 10 years old.  Yep, you read that right - this chair could be with you for the next 10 years if your  baby is a new one!

Hauck Alpha Grow With You Wooden Highchair £35.75 @ AmazonBeing able to adjust both of these things to fit your child, rather than your child growing to fit the chair, they are widely accepted as being good for encouraging correct posture when sitting. It also comes with a restraining bar (my £100 one didn't, pah!) and a crotch strap to stop tiny ones sliding out underneath.

Amazon have reduced this from £49.99 to £35.75 AND because you're spending over a tenner, you'll get £2 to put towards an MP3 download; delivery is free too with the infamous SuperSaver deal.

Hauck Galaxy 2 In 1 Pram @ Bargain Crazy

by Lynley Oram in Deals on 11 May, 2010 at 1:00 pm

Hauck Galaxy 2 In 1 Pram @ Bargain Crazy

I have to admit, I spent far too much on a pram when my son was born. As a new parent I hadn’t yet figured out all the ways of saving cash on baby products. Nor had I found the network of mothers I now depend on to fill me in on bargains. This Hauck Galaxy 2 in 1 pram looks like a great deal at £53.94 including delivery (use code WSAVE20) - possibly an ideal buy for those on a really tight budget.

Hauck Galaxy 2 In 1 Pram @ Bargain CrazyFor me, the Galaxy 2 ticks the most important box on my list of must-haves for a new pram - baby can be placed on a flat surface and it also detaches to form a carry cot.

Now from my own personal experience, this is just fabulous if you’ve a two story (or more) home. I kept the carry cot from our pram downstairs for naps, and used the moses basket for upstairs naps and ‘big’ sleeps. That way I didn’t have to carry baby or basket up and down the stairs. With this deal you only get one colour option though – turquoise.
