Celebaby: Natalie Wants Twins and Halle Loses Nahla

Celebaby: Natalie Wants Twins and Halle Loses NahlaIt's all go in the world of Celebaby today! Natalie Cassidy wants more kids already and Halle Berry loses her daughter, Nahla.

Natalie Wants Twins Next

So Natalie Cassidy has been well and truly bitten by the baby bug.

It's easy to get sucked into the romance of it all when your first one is a little angel - that's how I've got two with birthdays on the same day a year apart *sigh*

She'd like Eliza to have a brother or sister to play with, "I'd love Eliza to have a brother or sister quite soon to play with. We'd like to have twins next but you couldn't leave one on their own, so I'd have to have four."

Four!? Three's enough, trust me I know!

Nahla...Where ARRRRE YOOOOU!??

Halle Berry has 'fessed that she lost her daughter for a few seconds in a department store.

That's happened to me with my youngest a couple of years ago and it was a heart-stopping minute or two!

Halle revealed this little drama she had with her daughter during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, "Talk about sweating. And you just freak out for about 30 seconds. I came undone. I think my head projected off my body," she went on to say, "and then all of a sudden, I looked down at a price tag or something, and she toddled off for what seemed like two seconds. The next thing I know, I looked back around and it was like, Whosh! Gone! And I said, 'Nahla? Nahla? Nahla?' Gone."

*Shudder* Even just reading this brings back the absolute panic I felt when my youngest had wandered off in John Lewis.

"My heart just started... I'm like, 'Close the store! Shut the door! My daughter's gone!' "She was right next to me - in a rounder of clothes where the pants were hanging. Right there. And after I became a lunatic and totally embarrassed myself, she stuck her head out and was like, 'Hi.'"

KIDS! Who'd have 'em!?

Celebaby: No Kids For Kylie? And Live and Let Live Together For Halle Berry

Time waits for no man and no pop star either and the maternal clock countdown is ticking fast for Kylie Minogue.

Halle Berry and her ex-husband have, supposedly, been locked in a 'talks' over custody of their little daughter Nahla since their separation, but the next three months will see them living together in South Africa!

No Kids For Kylie?

Celebaby: No Kids For Kylie? And Live and Let Live Together For Halle BerryKylie Minogue has always said that she'd like to have a family of her own one day.  She appeared on Australian TV show 'A Current Affair' recently and seemed to cast doubt on the pitter patter of tiny Kylie feet even becoming a reality by saying...

"I don't really know if it's going to happen for me. All I can say is, we'll see."

Kylie recently became Aunty Kylie and is totally smitten with her little nephew, "He's so diddy and cute! My sister and Kris have taken to parenthood like a duck to water, it would seem, so all is well."

She was asked whether meeting her little nephew had made her broody, "Yeah, a little. I'm putting in the aunty hours instead," was the inevitable reply.

Live and Let Live Together!

Celebaby: No Kids For Kylie? And Live and Let Live Together For Halle BerryThat's about as tenuous a James Bond movie link as I could forge! Forget Live and Let Die, former Bond girl Halle Berry and her ex-husband have been 'discussing' custody and access to their daughter Nahla for a while now.

It all seemed to come to a head when Halle Berry revealed she was jetting off to South Africa for three months to film her next movie, and was going to take Nahla with her (well she wasn't exactly going to lock her in the broom cupboard was she!).

Nahla's father, Gabriel Aubry, felt this was an unacceptable length of time to be away from his daughter so they've all jetted off to SA together, so he can be her primary carer whilst Halle is working.

Not only that, but they've rented a house and are going to live together for the duration too. One of those useful sources said...

"Basically Halle is going to pay Gabriel to be a kind of full time nanny and to come to South Africa for the three months she’s there, and to be Nahla’s full-time caregiver. 'Halle has a huge house that’s being rented for her and she and Gabriel are going to try to live under the same roof and get along for the sake of Nahla."

It'll either work brilliantly or be a complete disaster - I hope it's the former, not the latter and good for them I say!

Celebaby: Court in the middle and Baby Joy for the Travoltas

by Sarah Macdonald in Celebaby on 20 May, 2010 at 11:00 am

Today's Celebaby is a bittersweet mix of the latest baby news in celebrity land.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry  seem destined to engage in custody battles over their daughter Nahla and after a string of tragedies and torment, there's finally some fantastic news for the Travolta family.

Court In The Middle

Celebaby: Court in the middle and Baby Joy for the TravoltasWhen you end up resorting to the long arm of the law to sort out 'who gets the kids' the only winners are the lawyers you employ.  It irrevocably destroys already fragile relationships, costs a fortune and is totally the wrong arena for resolving family issues.

Halle Berry is said to be planning to take daughter Nahla to South Africa for three months whilst she works on her latest film role and, understandably, Gabriel isn't jumping for joy at the prospect of not seeing his daughter for such a long period of time.

Apparently, he's already feeling frustrated at his limited access to Nahla and one of those 'handy sources' has said...

"“It’s been pretty difficult for Gabriel to see Nahla the last few weeks...he’s really getting sick of it and it’s getting to the point where he is seriously considering his options regarding pursuing permanent custody. He refuses to give up rights to his daughter, he loves her more than anything and is determined to be a regular, full time fixture in her life.”

But get this! It's also been reported that in a bid to come to some sort of arrangement to cover the three months in SA, Halle Berry has supposedly offered to pay Gabriel to be Nahla's full-time 'nanny' and go to South Africa with them for three months!

I can't decide if it's the perfect solution or just insulting, what do you think?

The Travoltas Announce Baby Joy

Celebaby: Court in the middle and Baby Joy for the TravoltasIf ever a couple deserved some good news and joy in their lives it's John Travolta and Kelly Preston.  To say that life's been tough for them lately would be something of an understatement - their 16-year-old son, Jett, died in January 2009 whilst on holiday in the Bahamas after hitting his head on the side of the bath during an epileptic seizure.

Then a Bahamian politican attempted to blackmail the family by threatening to publish photographs taken of Jett at the time of his death unless they stumped up big sums of cash (I'm at a loss for words on this one...) and earlier this week the family's dogs were run over and killed at Bangor airport in Maine, USA as they were being walked off the plane.

However, the couple were able to announce good news on Tuesday telling the world that Kelly, 47, is three months pregnant...

"It’s impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this! We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.
Love, John, Kelly and Ella"

Now if that doesn't give you goosebumps and make you smile you might just want to check to see if you've got a pulse!

Celebaby: Halle Berry Barefoot In The Park

Celebaby: Halle Berry Barefoot In The ParkIt's heartwarming, isn't it, to see an A-lister just hanging out with her mini-me?

The Daily Mail ran a story today about Hollywood goddess Halle Berry going all barefoot-in-the-park with her little girl, Nahla, who turns two later this month.

With the Oscars happening in Tinseltown this weekend, I wonder if Halle is feeling especially chilled. According to the Mail, Halle said this in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey:

"When I won an Academy Award I remember feeling this enormous amount of pressure because now I had this award and I felt like I had to live up to it... so I felt a dilemma for a while. I felt like, how am I going to navigate my career now with this pressure that’s sat down on me? So I decided to kick it in the face and laugh at it and say, ‘You know what, I’m not going to live up to it, I may never win another one but you know what, you can’t take away the one I have.’"

Atta girl, Halle. And it looks to us like she's doing an award-winning job of being a Mama, too.
