"Yes, Coach Beckham!"

Lots of young boys across the globe go to football/soccer practice after school and at the weekend, and lots of dads pitch in - whether it's being coach, the touchline medic or the manager.

Imagine this...

You're a little laddy living in Los Angeles, you join the local boys footy team and rock up to discover your coach is international football hero, and superstar, David Beckham!

Well that's exactly what's going on Stateside just now; David was recently snapped, with Romeo and Cruz, training a group of youngsters in the fine art of kicking a ball around with your feet (seriously, rugby is MUCH better!).

It's all quiet on the Celebaby front for the minute.

We're still watching and waiting for Mel B to pop, which should be any day now; mind you, we were saying that about Pink for what felt like MONTHS!

Pink

In the meantime Pink, her hubby and baby Willow have gone away on their first family holiday together.

Snapped from a distance and judging by the resulting blurry photographs, everyone looks to be having a rather lovely time in Mexico.

Willow Sage is a grand two months old now and Pink is clearly in no hurry to race back into pre-pregnancy shape and before anyone starts, that's not intended to be a bitchy comment!

It's rather nice to see her just enjoying her new daughter rather than camping out indoors until it looks like she wasn't pregars in the first place - now THAT'S a sideways comment at a well-known recent new mother - and cute little Willow was dressed in a little pink sun hat and, I'm sure, plenty of sunscreen.

Gisele

Gisele Bunchen, on the other hand, has definitely got back her pre-pregnancy figure but when you earn your living from your body - I know that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean - it's hardly surprising.

She was spotted playing in the sea with her, now, 20-month-old son Benjamin in Costa Rica.

I'd rather like to look like her in my bikini, but with her at 5ft 11 and me at 5ft 6 I don't think that's going to happen - I'll just have to settle for being a short version.

Kingston Rossdale

Kingstone Rossdale is Gwen Stefani's eldest son.

He either knows what he wants when it comes to his hairstyles OR he just can't make up his mind, that boy has had more hairstyles in his five-year lifetime than I've had hot dinners!

Earlier this year he had a mowhawk - which, I have to say, I thought looked pretty cool - THEN it was dyed BRIGHT electric blue (which didn't look so cool), after that it went back to bleached blonde and now...all his hair's been shaved off.

Now I must confess to having a very strong liking for this hairstyle on both boys and men, so I think he looks GREAT (my husband has the very same hairstyle and HE looks great too!).

One can only wonder what hairstyle statement young Kingston will be making next.

Gwen Stefani

Four-year-old Kingston made his runway debut with his mum Gwen Stefani after her LAMB collection showed at New York Fashion Week.

I have to say he looks pretty cool and not at all phased by being in the limelight.

Jackson kids doing ok

I'm not sure why this is news but it's making headlines anyway - apparently Michael Jackson's children 'still' talk about him.  Erm, hello?!  He was their father, he's not been dead long and why wouldn't they talk about him?

Jackie Jackson recently spoke to People, saying, "They are around their father 24 hours a day," Jackson's brother said. "They have pictures in the bedroom. They talk about him all the time. They ask me stories about him. They want to know more about him."

He went on to say that all three children are doing well and told how Prince and Paris are becoming interested in following in their father's footsteps by joining the entertainment business. Prince would like to direct, while Paris would like to be an actress.

Jackie told his neice and nephew, "'You better get busy because when we were your age we were selling out concerts!" That made me laugh, c'mon kids step it up a bit!

With summer comes sporting events and parties and the opportunites to 'pap' celebrities and their offspring abound - we have a few for you in today's Celebaby.

David and Brooklyn Beckham

There must be something in the celebrity water that these kids are being given because they all seem to be growing up overnight! How is Brooklyn Beckham 11 years old already?!

He was spotted coming in to Heathrow with dad, David Beckham,yesterday en route to watch Andy Murray play at Wimbledon and was more than happy to be photographed holding his dad's hand as they walked through Arrivals - I think I would be too if I was 11 years old and had to face the 'Paps'!

The Stefani-Rossdale Gang

Gwen, Gav, Kingston and Zuma were spotted making their way to a birthday party late last month (well it IS only the 3 July).

Gavin carried the ENORMOUS gift - I wonder what was in it? -  whilst Gwen carried Zuma as young Kingston (4) strolled alongside.

I have to say I really like Gwen's hair down in this photograph, it's much softer than her usual harsh scraped back up-do,  and she looks rather stunning in that dress too - very boho and summer chic.

Denise Van Outen and Betsy

I wonder if you get used to being photographed every time you step out of your front door? I've just gone outside to hang up balloons for my youngest as it's his fourth birthday today and, lucky for me, there wasn't an army of 'togs outside my front gates and photographs of me looking less than glam' aren't going to be appearing in the papers tomorrow!

But if I was DVO then this would most certainly be the case - she was spotted going out for a stoll with Betsy yesterday.

She's quite often spotted out and about pushing the pram and all this regular walking is said to be part of her 'secret' to looking so fab, even during the early months of motherhood - if you've  been there, you'll know exactly how gruelling they can be!

One can only 'hope' she's got some serious bags behind those sunglasses otherwise it's just NOT fair!

Gwen Steffani and hubby, Gavin Rosdale, spent a reported $15,000 on a birthday party for Kingston and you'd never believe Denise Van Outen had only just had a baby!

$15k Birthday Bash

My two teenagers are born on the same day, a year apart which has caused various birthday party solutions to be looked at.  The thought of twice the number of screaming toddlers hurling jelly and ice-cream around was NOT appealing, that and twice the cost of course.

The kids have even asked if one of them could 'move' their birthdays and maybe have an official one like the Queen hahaha!!  Erm...no, but nice try!

So in the end we settled for: choose a friend and we'll all go out somewhere and DO something like a trip to London, something to eat and a movie and so it's been ever since.

4-year-old Kingston, however, had over 100 people at his birthday party recently in Los Angeles and cost the princely sum of $15,000.  They had the obligatory bouncy castle (love those), a face painter, a balloon artist, super hero characters wandering around the place and three birds (...yeah, I didn't get the birds either).

Guests included the Beckhams and Kate Beckinsale....I can't help but wonder who these celebrity kiddy birthday parties are really for - the kids or the parents?

Denise Drops Pounds

No, not our Great British pounds but baby-weight pounds!  Now we know she always looks fabulous but you'd never ever guess that she'd only been preggars two weeks before these photos were taken en route to David Walliams' wedding.

A little while back she was quoted as saying she wasn't going to be in any hurry to get back to her pre-pregnant gloriousness but she's sure doing a great job of it and super-fast too!

Apparently, the secret lies in having meals delivered that have been carefully crafted, have controlled portions and been specifically designed for nursing mothers.  Customers can sign up for a 10, 30 or 90-day plan and get this, it costs £26.95 a day for two meals or £36.95 a day for three meals and two healthy snacks!  Maybe I'm being naiive here, but is that impossible to do yourself for considerably less money?  I'm just asking...

IVF for Jordan and Alex

They say there's nothing money can't buy and ohhh how I wish this was the case with Jordan and IVF!  The thought of there being another child caught up in the circus that is the life of Ms Price and Co is just too much to bear.

Alex and Jordan have been spotted popping in and out of the Portland Hospital and a 'close friend' had this to say to the News of the World:

"Katie and Alex really want a child to cement their relationship. But he’s had a problem with a low sperm count and it is proving difficult for Katie to conceive. They’ve been practising a lot but it appears Alex is firing blanks, so Katie has turned to IVF to help make it happen.”  URGH, far too much information thank you 'close friend'!

I was in South Africa recently and thank goodness not many people there know who she is because quite frankly I'd deny my status as a British female citizen if anyone assumed us UK girls were all like her!  There's no denying she's a shrewd business woman but I wish she'd use some of her cash to buy some dignity and self-respect!

Baby No.3 for Gwen Stefani?

I like Gwen Stefani.  I like the quiet dignity that she has when it comes to her family; you don't see every second of her life splashed all over the papers or on the TV, she and Gavin just get on with their lives with their kids and their careers and shows there really are two different classes of celebrity:  the tacky desperate ones and the dignified secure ones.

As a celeb' who chooses to try and maintain some degree of privacy it's got to be tough when you're expecting, knowing that as soon as news of it gets out the world's media are going to be keeping an even closer beady eye on you.

Gwen was photographed in New York in very baggy clothes, sporting what looks like a baby bump and wearing a Sea-Band bracelet which is used to combat motion and morning sickness; an 'onlooker' has been reported as saying:

"She was pulling at her shirt to keep it away from her body. It seemed really strange -- but then, when she turned to the side, I could see why. She definitely had a baby bump!"

And a 'source' has added fuel to the 'is-Gwen-preggars?' fire by revealing to OK! magazine:

"Gwen is having a really rough time this pregnancy. She had all-day morning sickness for a while with Zuma, but she's sicker this go-round and has been feeling exhausted and dizzy."

Gwen's publicist is keeping mum on the subject so we'll just have to wait and see!
