FREEBIE: Free Gruffalo Colouring Book Plus £5 Off In-store at Mothercare Or ELC With The Radio Times

FREEBIE: Free Gruffalo Colouring Book Plus £5 Off In-store at Mothercare Or ELC With The Radio TimesReading the Christmas Radio Times, with a glass of red wine whilst Michael Buble warbles Christmas 'toons' in the background, is like Christmas law in my family; it's necessary, it has to be done and Christmas REALLY starts from that point onwards - this is how I spent yesterday evening; marvellous.

If YOU buy a copy of the Christmas Radio Times too, then you'll be able to pick up a free Gruffalo Colouring Book just like I did yesterday afternoon.

  • You're going to have to go out into the big wide world for this one

So, all you need to do is grab a copy of the Crimbo Radio Times - it costs £2.50 and covers all the TV, Satellite and Radio listings between 17 and 30 December - pull out page 58 and take it along to your nearest Mothercare of Early Learning Centre before Christmas Eve.

They'll give you a free Gruffalo Colouring Book and you'll get £5 off when you spend £25 in-store too - I won't be doing that, but I will be grabbing a free Gruffalo Colouring Book for my youngest.

If you can't get to a Mothercare or ELC you can cut out the coupon, on page 58, and send it off in the post (with a cheque for £1.99 to cover p&p) to claim your free Gruffalo Colouring Book.

Does this really count as a freebie, as you have to buy a copy of the RT?  I don't know, but the Gruffalo Colouring Book is worth £3.99, so at the very least you have a pretty good discount on it.

Happy Gruffalo Colouring!

LeapPad Explorer Tablet And Free Alphabet Pal £63.99 @ Toys R Us

There’s a fab offer on at Toys R Us, especially if you’re looking for the still new-ish LeapPad Explorer Tablet in Pink or Green for Christmas. As part of the Multi Buy offer, you also get the Alphabet Pal for free as you’re spending more than £30 on LeapFrog products. The Alphabet Pal is worth a further £17.97, and would make another great gift for the same, or a different child.

The LeapPad Explorer Tablet is billed to be one of the must have toys this Christmas, and at the moment Toys R Us have a limit of four per order, so it’s possible that they’ll run out in the run up to the big day.

The LeapPad Explorer is the new child friendly learning tablet from LeapFrog! With endless ways to play and learn this multifunctional tablet features the next generation of advance gaming, digital reading, personalisation and creativity and has over 100 games and apps already available.

The only downside to this offer is that you will have to collect instore as the Alphabet Pal now seems to be out of stock for home delivery.

FREEBIE: Map Of The World @ GeoBar

by Sarah Macdonald in Freebies on 5 April, 2011 at 11:00 am

FREEBIE: Map Of The World @ GeoBarGeobar are giving away a FREE map of the world for kids.

I'd never heard of Geobar before but, after a quick bit of snooping, I discovered they've been making Fairtrade cereal bars since 1999; I'm not sure how they've managed to stay under my radar for the last 12 years!

Anyway, they're giving away a FREE map of the world until 31 December 2011 OR until 10,000 have been given away.

I have no way of telling how many have already been sent out but I ordered mine anyway and decided to share - all you have to do is fill in your name, email address and postal address, decide whether or not you want to receive their newsletter (tick the box if you DON'T) and then hit submit; simple and Geobar say, if you're one of the 10,000, you can expect to receive your map by early June.

The Geobar FREE map of the world is A2 in size, so big enough but not so massive that it will dominate an entire wall.

It's also an official Hobo Dyer equal area political world map – meaning that each country is shown in a different colour at the correct proportion in relation to land area.

Fingers crossed you're one of the first 10,000 people to get your hands on one of these FREE maps of the world.
