Fisher-Price Link-a-Doos Infant-to-Toddler Rocker £29.69 @ AmazonOOH now £29.69 for this Fisher-Price Link-a-Doos Infant-to-Toddler Rocker is rather fabulous; much better than £49.99 I reckon.

A bouncy, or rocking, chair of some description is one of the things I’d put on a must-have list of baby equipment.

All three of my children spent a lot of time in bouncy chairs when they were small, and I could get quite militant with people who say they don’t need one.

Ok, so NEED is debatable but your life will be sooo much easier if you have one and THAT alone should make it a compulsory purchase! And ANYTHING that has motion is a must, as far as I’m concerned.

One day, when my youngest was still tiny in a stage 0 car seat, I put him (in it) on top of the tumble dryer which was whirring round and round and he went all quiet and dopey in an instant – it came to the rescue more than once when nothing else would placate him!

Here are the technical features:

  • Converts from an Infant Seat to a Toddler Rocker, fun Linkadoos theme
  • Two position recline seat and fold-out kickstand for feeding or sleeping
  • Calming vibrations soothe baby like a ride in the car
  • Three-point restraint holds baby securely in place
  • Ages birth+ up to max weight of 40lbs, requires 1 x D size battery (not included)
If you're in the market for something along these lines then, having read the reviews, you won't go far wrong with this Fisher-Price Link-a-Doos Infant-to-Toddler Rocker.

Fisher Price Infant To Toddler Rocker Review

The single, best value for money item I ever got when my son was born was this, the Fisher Price Infant To Toddler Rocker. Emma reviewed a slightly different model last week, the newborn to toddler rocker from Fisher Price, but this chair is more of a bouncer than a rocker.

My son had short naps in this Fisher Price Infant To Toddler Rocker, played in it while I got on with things, and was fed his first solid food while sitting in it. Here he is (above) at the age of 6 months. And now, five years later, it is still his favourite chair for watching TV (below).

Right now, Boots has the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker on special offer, marked down from £49.99 to £37.49. Throw something else in the basket and take advantage of their free delivery for orders over £40.

Fisher Price Infant To Toddler Rocker ReviewWith this rocker, you start with the infant/small baby insert that holds their head in place. This is removed as they get bigger and can hold their own head up. The harness can be pushed back through the slits in the material, and done up behind the chair to keep it out of the way. The toys bar is easily removed. And voila, you have a toddler chair.

The bar underneath the chair can be flipped foward to tilt the chair back slightly, and keep it from rocking. The chair also vibrates. When he was a small baby, he found this soothing. As he got older though, this just seemed to annoy him, possibly because it is quite noisy.Fisher Price Infant To Toddler Rocker Review

From the parent's point of view, the best thing about the chair is how easy it is to keep clean. The cover comes off really easily, it goes in the washing machine, and dries very quickly. I didn't need to look at the instructions or a manual to figure out how to take the cover off and put it back on again. It is also easy to take apart and put back together, again without consulting a manual. I actually did this and put it flat in the bottom of our suitcase when we went on a family holiday to Canada!
