This deal is for various dates in September for you to stay at Pontins for as little as £10 for the entire stay! While you may not melt with happiness at the idea of staying at Pontins as a rule, let’s face it, for only a tenner this is as good excuse as any to have a small break with the kids.
The site is currently offering a whack of different deals such as Autumn breaks from £15, as well as this £10 UK family offer. On the landing page you’ll see a countdown to when the offer goes live and the offer code you need to take advantage of it.
I’ve never been to Pontins and I know that the reviews are really mixed, with some people saying it is awful and others saying that it was just fine for the cost involved. You get free activities, live entertainment and all sorts of other extras at Pontins so for £10 you may as well see it as a cheap adventure!

I have to give in. Autumn is definitely here and winter is on its way. Goodbye toasty summer, sob. On the plus side, though, this is a GREAT time to invest in this kind of deal because you’ll get loads of lovely entertainment for those dark wintery nights.
You only get the £20 free M&S voucher (awesome) if you pay for your first month’s subscription. Now you need to bear in mind that LoveFilm do ask you to input your credit or debit card details when you sign up for the trial, and they won’t remind you that it is about to end. So, if you only plan on using it for a month then make sure you cancel everything in time or you will be charged.
You won’t be charged during the free trial, though, and if you’ve used a LoveFilm trial before then you won’t be eligible for this one. Oh, and you will need to return all your discs when you cancel your subscription or you’ll be charged. Right, that’s the fine print done. Now it’s time to enjoy this ACE deal.
- Discount: Free Trial and £20 M&S voucher
- Minimum Spend: £0.00
- Discount Code: LFAW30MS20
- Expiry: 31/12/2010

I am constantly amazed at how much Peppa Pig merchandise there is, I mean, you can probably get a Peppa Pig car if you so desired. All these gadgets and gizmos smothered in Peppa Pigness and all from a show that lasts all of five minutes a time. I don’t get it. Anyway here you can nab some Peppa Pig headphones from The Hut, including free delivery, for only £4.93.
These headphones have been designed with kids in mind so they will protect their hearing while they listen to music, engage in learning, or do things that are noisy and demand headphones. They are suitable for children aged three and up.
They will fit into most DVD car entertainment systems, iPods, iPhones, MP3 players, laptops, PCs (including Apple) and portable gaming systems. Actually, with or without the Peppa Pig branding, a set of headphones like these are brilliant for when you go on your December holidays.
Kids will be able to hear their movies/games above the sound of the engine and you don’t have to listen to their shows for hours on end and can actually squeeze in some of your own music.

If you’re one of the brave parental souls who could get through the book and the movie, then this is definitely a keeper. Down to only £5.99 at HMV including delivery, the Lovely Bones is a rich, heartbreaking and dramatic story that will grip you from the start.
I have to confess that when I was first given the book I managed the first chapter and then had to put it down. I couldn’t bring myself to read any further as the thought of that happening to my daughter was too vivid and horrifying for words.
I did eventually read it to completion, it was gripping and wonderfully poignant, but I think I went through several boxes of tissues in the process. The movie stays as true to the book as is possible with the time limit but, for me, didn’t quite do it justice.
Although many people disagree with me as the reviews have all been sterling. It is as poignant and heartbreaking as the books so please, bring tissues. It is also a lovely stocking filler for Christmas.

These adorable Mr Potato head kits will have you all giggling like loons, guaranteed. Even the pictures make me laugh. You can make a bunch of silly faces with this trio of veggie friends and you get this ace price of £7.50, down from £15.
Obviously these chaps have experienced a surge in popularity thanks to the brilliance of Toy Story 3. Hell, even I want one. So what does this set offer? You get a Mr Potato Head body and two veggie friends with parts and pieces for plenty of face changing fun.
The set comes with a potato body, corn body, carrot body, three faces, three arms with props, three regular arms, three sets of feet, two hats and a carrot top. It is fine for kids over the age of two and is rather brilliant as a stocking filler for Christmas.
Stop shouting at me for mentioning Christmas. I can’t help it, I love being prepared. AND I love any excuse to go Christmas shopping. I bought myself one of the Dorothy Perkins dresses as my very own “stocking filler” only it actually goes with my stockings…

The LeapFrog range of toys and educational goodies is expanding daily, it feels as if every time I turn around there is a LeapFrog something on offer! Here we have the delightful LeapFrog My Puppy that’s down from £19.99 to £14.99 including free delivery from Amazon.
This soft, green cuddly puppy is called Scout. He connects to your computer so you can customise the music he plays, the learning adventure he will take your child on, and all the things that your child loves to do and eat. So you can teach him that your child likes strawberries, adores bears and wants the world to be coloured pink.
Once you’ve hooked him up and downloaded the extras and sorted out the preferences you can then press his paws to hear him talk or sing your favourite songs. There are about 30 songs – learning tunes and lullabies – available for download.
He will play games with you and teach you things, and parents can go online to follow their child’s learning adventure and see what programmes they need to focus on to help their child’s development.

I am completely stealing this joke because I think its genius. And here it is…when you can live forever what do you do? Play board games, of course! And why not play a board game that’s all about you? And here, you can join in the fun and play Twilight Eclipse, The Board Game for only £6.99 including free delivery from Play.com.
The original retail price of the game was £22.99 and it is now a delightfully cheap £6.99, making this a brilliant stocking filler for Twilight fans this Christmas. And, considering how damp and cold the weather will be, a board game is always a good idea.
You can choose to either be a Cullen or a Quileute and then off you go, defeating that pesky army of newborn vampires and saving the world. You have to collect eight scene cards to win the game. What scene cards? Well, you’ll have to buy the game to find out…
The box includes 57 scene cards, an Eclipse pad, game board, four Cullen crests, four Volturi crest playing pieces, 127 Eclipse cards, 24 friend cards, two six-sided dice.

Ok, I could NOT resist this deal. What a lovely idea! Visiting the Christmas market in Berlin for three lovely days of snow, and gluwein, yum! The famous Berlin Christmas markets kick of from 22 November and this four star break will cost you £108.50 per person based on two adults sharing.
The flights will cost you £10 for both adults one way, including taxes and fees, on 24 November. The return flight is £10 for both adults on the 27th of November. The hotel is the Belmondo am Kurfurstendamn which sits at the heart of Berlin’s City West between the boulevard and the Zoo station.
You’ll find shops, boutiques, theatres, cinema’s and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel and the entire hotel has just been renovated. Once you’ve settled in to your hotel you can then go off and explore the city and the Christmas markets, soaking up the sights and the sounds.
I am not sure what the extra costs would be for children so take some time to add them in and see – it is likely that younger tots will fly and stay at the hotel for free.

This is a fantastic deal for a starter guitar for kids that’s down to a mere £13.95 at Conrad and, thanks to the lovely voucher code below, gets free delivery too. For musical children or parents who want musical children, this is a lovely price for a sweet little guitar.
The TL4 Sunburst guitar comes with a two year warranty (ace!), has steel strings and is made entirely from linden wood. It’s 64cm in size so it should be alright for most kids to handle quite comfortably. While this won’t necessarily be the world’s most awesome guitar, it’s good place to start.
Now, if you would like to nab this guitar for £13.95 and avoid the horrors of postage costs then use the code 020077-89 to get it sent to your home for free.
I wish we hadn’t bought our daughter a plastic electronic monstrosity from ELC now, this is far better and is at least a good stepping stone to a real guitar.

Alton Towers are holding a special offer this September where you can stay over at the Alton Towers Resort for just £24.75 per person, per night, and enjoy two action packed days of thrilling rides and attractions.
The dates are limited and available until 16 October and exclude all Saturdays. This kind of deal makes me laugh a bit, I mean, most kids who would enjoy Alton Towers are in school now and the chances of parents taking their kids out of school for a trip to Alton Towers are quite slim. It’s not very educational is it?
The deal includes bed and breakfast for four sharing but if you only have two sharing it goes up to £42 per person. You get 20% off your theme park ticket (so those still have to be factored in) and two days park entrance for the price of one.
The deal includes free parking and monorail service to the park and you get to go into the park one hour before the park officially opens so you can avoid the big queues. It is definitely a lot cheaper than the usual rates so if you can make it, snap it up.
Thanks to bundle at HUKD!
