As Winter finally draws to an end, and we rapidly head for Easter, thoughts in my house inevitably turn to spring cleaning. Every year I try to do a big clear out, and every year I find that there's just as much clutter left. And even though my son is 8 years old, and after three there's not going to be anymore, I still have not got around to moving his cot on.

The mind boggles at how any toy development meeting came around to the idea of an animatronic dog toy that relieves itself on a regular basis. The Animagic Pattie Goes Pee Pee toy comes complete with a very visual image of the dog doing just that. It’s the dog’s expression that makes me cackle though. Anyway, the actual toy costs £6.99 and delivery costs £1.99 so that’s how you get to the grand total of £8.98 for the toy.

This pink, acrylic mobile light is in the shape of Hello Kitty and requires three AAA batteries to run. These batteries are not included in the price at all. According to the site, this light is only suitable for children aged fourteen years and over although I am not entirely sure why.

I am also confused as to why this needs batteries when the picture seems to show the light hanging off a bulb? Actually, I find this light very confusing as the white light hanging down the centre seems ridiculous if this runs off batteries and a massive design flaw. What do you think?
