Cra-Z-Art Drawing Station £12.50 @ The Entertainer

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 1 June, 2012 at 11:00 am

Cra-Z-Art Drawing Station £12.50 @ The EntertainerThe Entertainer are selling this Cra-Z-Art drawing station for £12.50 rather than the original £25.

What's crazy is the spelling of the Cra-Z-Art drawing station - it's a menace to type and get right, without having to slow down my 70 words per minute!

What's good about it?  The price for starters - I wouldn't pay £25 for it, but £12.50 isn't too shabby at all.

The Cra-Z-Art drawing station features a projector, that takes one of the three projector discs supplied, which gives you 50 different images to trace when they're projected onto the paper.

It also comes with 10 sheets of paper, six crayons and six marker pens to colour in your traced images, and there's a handy little integrated drawer to store all your Cra-Z-Art drawing station bits and pieces.

If you live near an Entertainer (or The Toy Shop, to use their other name) then you can collect your Cra-Z-Art drawing station in-store for free, otherwise standard delivery will cost you an additional £3.95 if you spend less than £30.

Tomy Aquadoodle Classic £13.39 @ Amazon

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 7 May, 2011 at 11:00 am

Tomy Aquadoodle Classic £13.39 @ AmazonAmazon are, for the moment, selling this large Tomy Aquadoodle Classic drawing mat for £13.39 instead of £19.99.  It's selling for the same price at Play.com just now and around the £20 mark everywhere else.

I think this Tomy Aquadoodle drawing mat is sheer genius.

The closest thing there was to this when my two eldest were small was 'magic painting' colouring books, where you just painted over the pages with water to reveal the colour underneath; they were ok, but they didn't really give any room for being creative.

With this Tomy Aquadoodle drawing mat, painting and drawing becomes an absolute breeze for all involved; there's no setting up, no mess, no clearing up – I mean, really, this is a busy parent’s DREAM activity!

A little bit of  water is all that’s required to let your child’s inner Jackson Pollock run riot – simply fill up the special pens with the wet stuff and DRAW! Or use the special paintbrush and stamps to add different effects.

When the Tomy Aquadoodle mat dries out the pictures disappear and you’re left with a clean blank canvas on which to create another masterpiece; brilliant!

Tomy Aquadoodle Classic £5.88 @ Tesco Direct

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 11 April, 2011 at 12:00 pm

Tomy Aquadoodle Classic £5.88 @ Tesco DirectTesco Direct are selling this full-size Tomy Aquadoodle Classic mat for £5.88 instead of £19.97.

I think these Tomy Aquadoodle drawing mats are absolute genius.

You can forget about having to cover the walls and floor (and everything else for that matter) with newspaper, getting all the paints out only for your child to get bored after five minutes and decide they don't want to do painting anymore.

If you have a Tomy Aquadoodle mat then you just need to get the mat out, fill up the 'magic' pen with water and your young Picasso can doodle away to their heart's content whilst they create artistic masterpieces.

The water in the pen will reveal hidden numbers, shapes, letters and pictures too and as the water dries the images fade, leaving a new blank canvas to draw on all over again.

This Tomy Aquadoodle Classic mat comes with two magic pens and two stencils and is available for free in-store collection at your nearest Tesco, or home delivery if you want to spend an extra £5 (although quite why you would when there's a Tesco every 100 yards, I don't know!).

Aquadoodle Desk £15.97 @ Tesco Direct

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 30 March, 2011 at 11:00 am

Aquadoodle Desk £15.97 @ Tesco DirectTesco Direct are selling this Aquadoodle Desk for £15.97 instead of £26.97, saving you £11.

Aquadoodling is such a clever idea – super-fast to set up, no risk of your child redecorating the walls in their own unique style, no mess to clear up and you can use them again and again and again.

I loved drawing as a kid and I loved drawing WITH my kids too but sometimes the thought of getting everything organised - you know, covering everything with newspaper, finding an old shirt to put on them backwards so their clothes didn't painted too etc - was just far too much faff.  ESPECIALLY when, after five minutes, they'd decide they didn't want to DO painting anymore.

This Aquadoodle Desk is perfect for satisfying those quick drawing moments.

It's a foam board desk that's easy to assemble and comes with a double-sided Aquadoodle mat.  The desk top can also be removed so your child can continue to draw on their lap or on the go.

The Aquadoodle Desk is only going to be available whilst stocks last at Tesco Direct and delivery to your local store, so you can go in and collect it, is free.
