Disney Store: Up to 50% Off

The Disney Store is a great place to kill a few minutes from time to time, but I rarely walk out with anything, because really, you're usually paying for the label. I do love watching my daughter run around in the shop looking at and playing with everything though. A sale at the Disney Store is rather dangerous though – I suddenly feel like I can afford more!

Nevertheless, Disney Store has up to 50% off on a good range of toys and accessories, and may be worth a look if you're in the market for something anyway.

So, some of my favourites in the up to 50% off sale include the Toy Story 3 Electric Train Set which was £70.00 and is now £34.99 and includes a Western style locomotive, 3 carriages, Buzz and Woody figurines and a desert scene track mat.

Or what about this Nemo Inflatable Bath – incredibly useful on camping trips with a baby, by the way – and down from £17.00 to £8.49.
There are lovely fancy dress items on sale, which I just love for my daughter's dress up box. I adore the Alice in Wonderland Costume with Headband for £9.99 down from £20.00 or even the Mickey Mouse Plush Costume which was £25.00 and is now £12.49. Is it too early to prepare for Halloween?

There's loads to choose from, and if you spend over £75.00 delivery will be free

Disney Store Online: 10% Discount Code

It might only be 10% but when it comes to buying from the Disney Store online every little helps! The Disney Store isn't the cheapest that's for sure. Unfortunately though there's merchandising available there that you just can't get anywhere else. I have a Buzz Lightyear and Lightening McQueen obsessive in the house - I know!

  • Discount: 10%
  • Minimum Spend: £0.00
  • Voucher Code: WDTC

When you get to the Shopping Basket page enter the code in the Special Offers and Discounts section. I tried it on a sale item, and it deducted 10% from the purchase. Standard delivery is £4.95, so to make this worthwhile you'll probably want to buy a few items.

Overall, I do like the quality of the toys from the Disney Store, and I always end up having to get at least one or two items from there every Christmas.

However, I do have one bugbear with the Disney Store. I have bought three items of clothing from there. A Lightening McQueen jacket, which has held up really well over the last three years and is still in use now even though it is a bit small. And two t-shirts, both of which developed holes around the stitched in tag almost within a week of wearing them. In addition, a year later and I've had to sew up seams, and darn up holes, in both t-shirts as well. One of them was a gift, so I don't know how much it cost. But the long sleeved t-shirt cost £22! As none of the t-shirts I bought at the same time from M&S have developed holes, I have to say I'm not impressed.
