Toy Story 3 DVD £7.50/£6.67 And Free Delivery @ Marks and Spencer

Toy Story 3 DVD £7.50/£6.67 And Free Delivery @ Marks and Spencer

Toy Story 3 is on sale at Marks and Spencer. Originally £22.50, plus £3.50 delivery, it is now available for £10.50. But with a code for free delivery and a possible additional 15% off, it could cost as little as £6.67. Confused? Me too!

Woody and Buzz and friends may well have accepted that Andy has grown up, but really, you don't have to accept £25.00 for a DVD!

With £15.00 off the cost of the Toy Story 3 DVD, it's already a great saving, but for some people at HUKD, myself included there's been an additional 15% off at the checkout for no apparent reason. I've searched and searched to find where the additional 15% has come from, but it seems some people have just had it added to their accounts.

There's also a FREE DELIVERY code which can be added to the discounted DVD and the 15% off, saving an additional £3.50.

  • Promotional Code: Perweb02
  • Discount: Free Delivery
  • Expires: Unknown

The discounts will be shown at checkout.

I'd move quickly on this – I can't imagine it'll be available for very long, and at this price stocks will move quickly too!

Does every child go through a phase of doctor doctor? I know everyone in my family did. We used my mom's stethoscope to check the non existent heart beats on our dolls, teddy bears and even our poor long-suffering Alsation from time to time.

The contents of Peppa's medical case include a stethoscope, a blood pressure monitor, syringe, kidney dish – since we all need one of those from time to time! - dental mirror, scissors and tweezers.

The kit comes neatly arranged in Nurse Peppa's carry case for compact storage.

Of course, it all comes with a cute Peppa Pig design, which should please the Peppa fans among us.

Items should be dispatched within 24 hours and should arrive within 3 – 5 days, snow permitting of course!

25% Off Lego @ John Lewis

by Luschka van Onselen in Deals on 17 November, 2010 at 7:00 pm

25% Off Lego @ John Lewis

Lego is just such a winner with pretty much all the children, and some of the grown men, that I know. Unfortunately it can be expensive, so 25% off Lego at John Lewis is a great deal – especially when it's 25% off the RRP, and not overly inflated prices.

My husband has a huge box full of Lego that I assume he's saving for the heir he's hoping to one day have. While that's still up for debate, I'm pleased that the value of the old Lego sets have steadily increased, just in case.

John Lewis have 37 different Lego and Duplo and Lego Game in this offer, including items from the Atlantis, Pixar Cars, Star Wars, Racers, and Technic ranges.

Price comparisons with Lego.com show that the Seabed Scavenger, for example, is £12.99 at Lego, but only £7.25 in this sale. Similarly, Mack's Road Trip – from Pixar Cars – is only £33.70, while Lego have it at £44.99. The games too, are great value, and fun for all the family. Or at least 2 – 4 of you. Orient Bazaar, for example, is is £17.99 at the mother-company, but only £12.70 at John Lewis.

Great gifts at great prices. It may mess your house up a little, but at least it keeps the kids – and partners – busy for a while.

Well, BHS have a plethora of sales and offers on at the moment, with a web exclusive (for tonight) up to 30% off on clothing and accessories, and up to 50% on homeware and gifts as well as a free postage code.

So what does the 'up to' mean? Well, it's 20% off on cookware, 30 % off on towels and 50% off on bed sets and cushions – perfect for some wintertime redecorating in darker colours and cosy snuggle-in-front-of-the-fire-cushions.

Chandeliers and table lights can be yours for up to 50% off, and easy fit lights can change the mood of a room entirely for 20% less.

BHS have a variety of discounted lines of clothing and accessories too, such as 30% off shoes, boots, dresses, skirts and knitwear, and 20% off coats and jackets – and if you're getting married there's 30% off most of what you need for that too.

Kids get 20% off on pretty much everything, as do men, so there are discounts to be had by all the family.

60% Off Top Watch Brands @ Amazon

by Luschka van Onselen in Deals on 1 November, 2010 at 7:00 pm

Although time might be a touchy subject with those of us struggling to adjust to the clocks going back, I couldn't resist browsing through the selection of beautiful watches reduced by 60% on Amazon.

I have what has to be considered a hearty collection of watches, and I do love each and every one. Admittedly I've not taken my current watch off for over a year, but there was a time when I mixed and matched watches to clothes like most women do handbags or shoes.

With brands such as Police, Quiksilver, Timex and D&G included in the offer, there's sure to be a little something to suit every taste and budget.

For £17.99 (from £59.99) for example, you could find yourself the happy owner of a simple Timex Ladies Watch UG0085Q4 Gift Box Set with a matching Silver Bracelet. For a bit more, Sekonda Ladies Gold Watch Set 4232G.42 with gold plated stone watch white face and gold plated stone bracelet might be your new favourite at £25.99 (was 64.99), while the Nautica Watch BFD 101 Gents Watch at £60.00 (down from £150.00) could make a lovely gift.

Personally, if anyone's in a giving mood, I'm quite partial to the D&G Ladies Watch (£50.00 down from £125.00) myself.

I have to hand it to my husband though – I've not seen a swifter credit card hiding manoeuvre in my life.

25% Off Top Toy Brands @ Argos

25% Off Top Toy Brands @ Argos

Sometimes a little can go a very long way, and with this 25% off offer at Argos on brands such as In My Pocket, Baby Born, Hot Wheels, Halo, Playskool and Thomas and Friends, stocking up for Christmas gifts, birthday presents and stocking fillers doesn't have to cost the earth.

Some of the hottest items on sale at Argos this week are the Toy Story 3 Ultimate Buzz Lightyear for £99, a saving of £50 and the Chad Valley Wooden Dolls House, down to £29.99 from £39.99.

There are many smaller savings to be had too, like £1 and £2 savings on the In My Pocket range or £1 - £16 savings on the Thomas the Tank Engine range of toys.

Argos haver regular toy sales, and weekly special offers, so it's always worth checking to see what they have on offer when you're looking to buy. (This week they have 60% off on some kitchen basics too)

Argos offer order tracking on all home deliveries, which cost £5.95 on small items, delivered in the UK and Northern Ireland, and selected small items also have a free Royal Mail delivery option. Alternatively you can check stock in your local store, reserve items online and pick up at your convenience, which all sounds pretty stress free to me!

Three Tier Basket Unit £16.99 @ Argos

Three Tier Basket Unit £16.99 @ Argos

Maybe its because I'm in the middle of a house move that this nine piece storage unit from Argos appealed to me. The thought of more organisation for £16.99 – a £10.00 saving – seems like angel song right about now!

  • Click here to fly on over to Argos
  • I don't think anyone particularly enjoys packing everything they own in to boxes, but this time seems so much harder. It might have something to do with the toddler unpacking at about the same rate as I pack. Or it might be that everything is anywhere that we could find a spot for it, rather than in any sort of sensible order.

That's where these red, yellow and blue storage bins would have been handy. Resting in a natural wooden frame the nine colourful boxes provide ideal storage for toys, books, baby shoes and socks, bibs, and a multitude of other items that otherwise end up under the sofa or the bed.

Requiring minimal assembly and available in store or online, there doesn't seem to be much need for the scattering of, well, everything, on my floor. Easy to move, the unit does not take up a huge amount of space, while still being big enough to make an impact.

Reviews for this item are very positive, with the only negative being the price – a problem addressed with this £10 off offer.

Mamas and Papas Discount Bank Holiday EventWhen I was looking for things for my youngest I completely and utterly fell in love with Mamas and Papas' Millie and Boris range (this is the new range and it's not included in the Bank Holiday discount event - but I'd hate for someone to miss Millie and Boris because I didn't mention them!)

    20% Off @GLTC

by Heidi Scrimgeour in Deals on 7 March, 2010 at 9:00 am

20% Off @GLTCUntil Sunday 14th March 2010 you can get 20% off the new Spring range at the Great Little Trading Company.

Just enter the code SPS20C to claim your discount when you're ready to check out.

We've featured GLTC deals here at Playpennies several times in the past and it's fair to say that not everyone is a fan. They're not the cheapest company in the world but they do have some really unusual and stylish items on offer, and this discount is handy if you're looking for something a bit different for a little one's birthday pressie. But if you've ever shopped here before and have a strong opinion about the experience, do let us know what you think.

20% Off @GLTCI like the look of this Pirate Boat Kite which seems pretty reasonably priced at £12.50 - or less, if you remember to use that discount code! As well as being a brand new item for Spring, it's a GLTC 'Testing Team Hero' which means it scored a lot of points with the Great Little testing Team. They are apparently tough task masters who test every single product in the GLTC collection, and this impressed them. And if that doesn't float your boat or fly your kite, check out the items in the GLTC clearance sale.
