Denise Van Outen's little girly, Betsy, is almost three years old - for some reason I thought she was older than that already, it feels as though she's been around for much longer.
Anyway, Denise and Lee have been in the press lately, with comment being made on the state of their marriage. Journo's have been floating the idea that it's on the rocks because Denise and Lee never seem to go on holiday or attend press events/launches together.
Denise has clearly had enough and spoken out about it. She explained the situation to John Stapleton and Kate Garraway (who irritates me beyond belief!) whilst on their Daybreak TV sofa the other day:
"There's always speculation. Just to set the record straight, we don't have a nanny, so we split our parenting duties, so we do spend time apart," she said. "If we had a nanny and we went away all the time together then people would critcise us for not taking our child with us. Betsy's in nursery, do you know what I mean?"
She's right, they can't win. When you have small children and you don't want to employ someone to look after your child, you have to juggle.
I know plenty of people who holiday apart from their spouses. My goodness, my own mum and dad are currently living in two different countries for most of the time, due to work contracts, and no one would even think to suggest their marriage is in crisis.
Honestly, newspaper journos - go and find something worthwhile writing about!

David and Brooklyn Beckham
Gwen, Gav, Kingston and Zuma were spotted making their way to a birthday party late last month (well it IS only the 3 July).
I wonder if you get used to being photographed every time you step out of your front door? I've just gone outside to hang up balloons for my youngest as it's his fourth birthday today and, lucky for me, there wasn't an army of 'togs outside my front gates and photographs of me looking less than glam' aren't going to be appearing in the papers tomorrow!
My two teenagers are born on the same day, a year apart which has caused various birthday party solutions to be looked at. The thought of twice the number of screaming toddlers hurling jelly and ice-cream around was NOT appealing, that and twice the cost of course.
No, not our Great British pounds but baby-weight pounds! Now we know she always looks fabulous but you'd never ever guess that she'd only been preggars two weeks before these photos were taken en route to David Walliams' wedding.

Hold on to your hearts ladies because here's one of the hottest dads around (apart from the one to our own children of course....)
He was spotted out about having coffee in Los Angeles recently with his girlfriend Dominique Geisendorff and their b e a u t i f u l little daughter, Everleigh - isn't that a stunning name! Unsual but elegant and understated and I don't think she was drinking coffee...
In theory, Denis Van Outen should be loved by men and loathed by women - she's talented, she's STUNNING, she's funny, she's clever, she's an independent career woman, she's stylish and she's got a hot husband (ok, maybe the men won't be so keen on that bit) BUT men fancy her something rotten and us women ADORE her!
At a recent press launch she said...
So...you're beautiful, well-known, you're good at your job, you know what you're talking about and the nation loves you - you're HIRED! OH, hang on...you're pregnant too - you're FIRED!
The Beeb have said that none of the previous judges are being brought back for this show and their decision not to hire Denise has nothing to do with her being preggars...but come on, they're hardly going to breakdown, confess that, yes, she's not being brought back because she's expecting and beg for forgiveness.
