Can you believe that Elton John and David Furnish's son, Zachary, is a year old already?  Nor me, 2011 really has flown by and we have another bump to add to the list of celebs expecting new arrivals in 2012 - Andrea Corr of The Corrs fame has announced that she's expecting her first baby.

After the initial press reports and the obligatory glossy magazine spread, all news about Elton John, David and Zachary seemed to have been told, apart from the odd snippet in the press about which holiday destination they were at during various months of the year.

We haven't seen much in the way of photographs of Zachary though, until now.  A series of pictures have been released and I have to say, he's a cute little chap!

Here's are three of the latest ones for you...

Andrea Corr

Holly Valance and Andrea Corr have something in common and it's not music, both have billionaire husbands (well, Holly has a billionaire fiancee - he popped the question on Christmas Eve).

Andrea (37) is married to Brett Desmond (34) (I've no idea who he is), is thought to be around five months pregnant and took to Twitter after an Irish newspaper revealed that she was expecting...

"Thank you all so much for such lovely kind messages and well wishes. I'm so happy."

This little baby Corr will have plenty of older cousins to play with as Andrea is the last of the musical Corr siblings to have a baby, although she's not been deliberately holding off, earlier in the year she had this to say to The Telegraph...

"I'm as ready as I’ll ever be. And from what I'm told you're never really ready. You can't say you're not ready for ever, so you might as well go for it. If that happens that would be a priority.

'I'm not not allowing it to happen, if you see what I mean. I'm leaving it to He Who Knows Best, and she, my (late) mother. I believe she’s up there working away. I think she looks after me."

Well, happen it has and many congrats to them both.

Elton John, David Furnish and their seven-month-old son, Zachary, have nipped off on holiday - how CUTE is Zach?!

They're spending time on board a yacht on  the Italian Med' and the South of France with Neil Patrick Harris, his partner John Burtka and their, now, 10-month-old fraternal twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott.

All three babies were born to their fathers via surrogate, and there's been remarkably little news of any of them after the initial stories of their arrival.

I can only assume that's a good thing and that family life is calm, quiet and peaceful; the way it should be.

Neil Patrick Harris and Elton John have, apparently, been friends for a long time and always vowed that their children would have play dates together - yachting off the Italian Med'...now that's my kind of play date!

Neil's also found a spare moment to keep the Twitter world up to date, saying, "The family and I are having one of the best weeks of our lives."

It would seem that Neil has taken to fatherhood like the proverbial duck to water and has said that it's the smallest things about his babies that fascinates him the most.

"Gideon is a great burper!  Babies can burp! I've never been happier!"

He went on to say, "When they're unwell it feels awful. All you want as a parent is to make sure they're okay and that they're comfortable."

It sounds like everything is all just ticking along rather nicely in that little friends and family unit.

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later!

Elton John and David Furnish became fathers on Christmas Day, via surrogate (obviously, hahahaa) but they're both refusing to spill the beans as to who donated the biological details.

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John (oh he's not going to thank them for all those names when he's form-filling in later life!) was born on 25 December weighing 7lbs 15ozs and measured 22 inches long.

His surrogate mother's identity will remain a secret and all we know is that Zachary was born in California.

Sir Elton hasn't made any secret of his wish to become a father and his attempt to adopt an HIV+ baby from the Ukraine last year failed, regardless of that Elton John and David Furnish committed to supporting him, and his brother, financially.

Adoption wasn't always on the cards though...

"David always wanted to adopt a child and I always said no because I am 62 and I think because of the travelling I do and the life I have, maybe it wouldn't be fair for the child.

But having seen Lev today, I would love to adopt him. I don't know how we do that but he has stolen my heart."

Now - just putting on my Sherlock Holmes hat for a minute - if Elton wants to adopt 'Lev' then that would suggest to me that it's David who is the biological father.

But you know, who cares! One thing I DO know, there's not a little boy in the land who could be MORE loved than this young chap!
