Garmin Nuvi 205W GPS Sat Nav £49.97 @ Currys

The Garmin Nuvi 205W sat nav is one of the better known sat nav brands and well worth getting as a lovely Father’s Day present for the man who has everything except satellite navigation. Down to a lovely £49.97 at Currys, this is a good price for one of these gadgets.

The Garmin Nuvi 205W sat nav system comes with City Navigator NT maps for the UK and Ireland which are displayed with an incredible level of detail on the 4.3inch backlit colour screen. You only have to touch the screen to enter your destination and the system will lead the way.

It includes voice prompts and a host of routing options including eco-route that calculates the most efficient way there. It also gives you route avoidance so you can avoid tolls and highways plus it will auto reroute if you are stuck in traffic or have to take a diversion.

The system has lots of extra features that include photo navigation and an anti theft system.

Logik L1WAF10 Waffle Maker £7.99 @ Currys

Logik L1WAF10 Waffle Maker £7.99 @ Currys

And in the morning, I’m making WAFFLES! Oooooh, how I love waffles and I’ve always wanted a waffle maker. I don’t own one purely because of the risk of ending up so enormously fat that I can never leave the house again. Down to a neat £7.99 this looks like a good bargain.

The Logik waffle maker can make waffles, toasted sandwiches and paninis which is quite useful for lunchtime snacks and scrummy Sunday breakfasts. It has 850w of power and a temperature control so you can manipulate the toasty quality of your waffles perfectly.

It is made from brushed stainless steel with black edging, nice for most kitchens, and the plates are non-stick and easy to clean. It also has a Bakelite housing to make it easy to handle when hot.

This looks like a fab bargain addition to the kitchen and at an awesome saving of £22. I’ll have two waffles with caramel please.

Canon IXUS 200 £149.97 at Currys

Canon IXUS 200 £149.97 at CurrysThis little Canon camera may well be my deal of the day!

Go and have a quick look over at Amazon and you'll see this exact same camera currently selling for £227.95 and that's with the price reduced from £349!

When I bought my first little digital point and shoot 10 years ago it was quite chunky by today's standards, it had a 'massive' 2.2 mega pixels and cost me over £350!  Just 10 years ago!

A few weeks ago I bought a new point and shoot digital camera as the big digital one I use for work is too big to 'play tourist' with - it's actually got MORE mega pixels than the big one and is so tiny it fits in my handbag and cost me the same as this little Canon deal; amazing.

The techincal spec' of the Canon IXUS 200 is vast and writing the ins and outs of it would be like typing War and Peace, but in a nutshell it does everything you can possibly want it to...well, almost *grin*

It has 12.1 megapixels, image stabilising, automatic scene detection, face detection, it can be switched to video mode just to name a very few of the features it has.

So if you've been looking and hanging out for a camera bargain then, as a photographer, I'm happy to recommend this one to you.

Happy snapping and thanks to tee_lee over at HUKD for this great deal!
