Crocs Unisex Classic Clog 25% Off @ Amazon

Amazon has a sale on Crocs, with prices ranging from £17 - £68.12 now reduced by 25%. Be careful in choosing, because not all of the Crocs are sold by Amazon, so do click through and confirm before rushing off to buy.

Crocs are the Marmite of the fashion world – you either love them or hate them. While I wouldn’t necessarily wear the clogs myself, I have owned and worn some of the Crocs shoes and found them amazingly comfortable. While I can totally respect why someone would forego style for comfort with these shoes, I can’t personally get past the look of them.

But… they are great children’s shoes. My daughter has a few pairs of Crocs Clogs, and they are so easy to get on and off, it’s a godsend that she doesn’t need them strapped up and all that. Fabulous.

So, not much else to tell you here – they’re not all on sale, some are sold through marketplace sellers and postage need to be added, but for those sold through Amazon, they’re reduced and if you’re going to be buying them anyway, enjoy these at a reduced rate.

Crocs Women's Shoes Review

Crocs Women's Shoes Review

I have to take my hat off to Crocs. As a brand, they have absolutely reinvented themselves, and come a very long way from the ‘Clogs’. I never cared how comfy they were, I wouldn’t wear them.  When I saw the range of shoes Crocs offers now, I was absolutely shocked.  While they still offer the Clogs, and my daughter has two pairs that she loves as they’re easy to get on and off, and tend to go on the right way round too, I got myself a pair of flat shoes.

I was looking for a shoe that could pass as smart, but didn’t have to be formal. I’m a flip flop kind of girl – and Crocs have some stunning flip flops now -  but the fact is sometimes you need something with a little more pizzaz to lift your appearance.

I don’t particularly like pumps, but did like the idea of a flat shoe, so I thought I’d try the Carlie Flats. At first glance I was sceptical. I just didn’t like the look of a plastic shoe. I slipped them on, however, and felt a little like Cinderella with the glass slipper. It felt as though that particular pair of shoes was tailor made and measured to fit my feet.  I can honestly say I’ve never had that reaction to a pair of shoes before.

The translucent colour is another feature I love. I don’t know why, but it just looks nice, and once on your feet, it doesn’t look as plastic as it does  at first – and it certainly doesn’t feel plastic. The soles have circulation nubs for a massage-like feel, and there are ventilation pockets in the shoes too, so you don’t have the sweaty feet you expect.

There are so many other styles I’d love to try, including the winter boots, and I’ll say again, I take my hat off to Crocs for their amazing reinvention.

Crocs Chameleons Translucent Clogs Review

Crocs Chameleons Translucent Clogs Review

We were sent a pair of new Crocs Chameleons Translucent Clogs, the new colour changing clogs from, you guessed it, Crocs.

Of course, these are a total gimmick and in child sizes as small as my daughters, its entertainment value and excitement are more for the parents than the children themselves, but still, they’re really funky shoes. And I imagine older kids will love their colour changing properties.

There are two styles, the Clog and the Shirley, which is actually a much nicer style, I think, as it is more feminine and girly, but my daughter has no complaints about the Clog.

As you’d expect from Crocs, the toe section has ventilation holes for breathability and to help water drain away – and fits the Jibbitz jewel decorations. The clog also has a strap which swings back for a snug fit or forward for wear as a slip-on.

Apparently these have ‘circulation nubs’ on the foot bed which provide a massage-like feel, which obviously I can’t confirm or deny, since my little girl can’t tell me. But, she does love her shoes and she seems perfectly comfortable in them. In fact, she’s not allowed on the sofa with them on, but she’ll still put them on for the journey from one sofa to the other!

Another bonus of the Crocs Chameleons Translucent Clogs is that she can put them on and take them off herself, and they seem to be the first pair she’s owned that she doesn’t end up with the wrong shoe on the wrong foot.  I also like that they mould to the child’s foot, giving additional support, and are odour resistant (Man! How can such cute feet smell so bad?)

Their colour change thing is pretty cool. It happens really quickly, and with one shoe in the sun and one shoe in the shade you can see the difference. There’s a video on their website that demonstrates this.

At around £35, they’re not the cheapest of shoes, but if they are supportive and comfortable, stay on and don’t stink up the room, they get my vote.

Crocs £5 Off On £40 Spend

Crocs £5 Off On £40 Spend

Crocs have brought out a rather fantastic new range of shoes, moving away from their image of plastic clogs – although they still make those – to a lovely range of stylish and apparently as comfortable shoes for women, men, boys and girls.  As an Easter treat that won’t make you fat, they’re offering £5 off flip flops and sandals when you spend over £40.

  • Discount: £5 off
  • Minimum Spend: £40
  • Valid: 21 – 25 April
  • Anything else: Free shipping on orders over £70

I have to admit that when I hear about Crocs, I kind of roll my eyes. I’m sorry, I don’t care how comfy they are – you look ridiculous. So, under any other circumstances, I would have walked on by without a second glance. But, a few weeks ago I happened to see shoes I really liked, then discovered they were Crocs and I was very surprised.

I am a fan of the now very popular shoes-that-tone, so I like the look of these Crocs Tone Skylar flipflops but among the more expensive in the range(£34.95), they don’t qualify on their own, so I could add these Kids Tropic Flower flipflops (£19.95) (or the Kids Dino Camo, more suited to boys at the same price).

That brings my total order to £54.90, minus £5, but then you have to add £4.95 for shipping, bringing your order to £54.85, effectively making your shipping free. (Or throw in another pair and your shipping is free too.)

So, although it’s only a fiver, it still gives you £5 back to don your new flipflops and take the kidlets to the park for an icecream.

Junior Crocs £5 & Adult Crocs £10 @SportsDirect

I know we keep saying that Spring has sprung, and perhaps if we keep saying it we might even start to believe it. But what better way to convince yourself thJunior Crocs £5 & Adult Crocs £10 @SportsDirectat summer is on its way than with some new footwear to get the new season going? Sports Direct have a cracking offer on crocs just now, down to £5 for junior sizes and £10 for adults ones.

Crocs seem to divide opinion even more than politics does. Love em or loathe them, they're absolutely perfect for children in the summer. I love that my lads can get them on and off without my help and they're brilliant for wearing on the beach or for playing in the garden when the paddling pool is out because it doesn't matter if they get soaked. But they offer a bit more protection to little toes than plain old flipflops or sandals and a pair of cosy socks transforms them easily when the evening draws in.

As for adults wearing Crocs, I'm not going to comment beyond admitting that it is a fashion crime of which I am guilty but seriously, once you've slipped your dainty feet into the unrivalled comfort of a pair of Crocs on a hot day, well, it's hard to give them up.

Junior Crocs £5 & Adult Crocs £10 @SportsDirectThere are loads of sizes and styles in this sale and you can search according to size and colour as well as other criteria, making it an easy process.

Standard delivery is £3.99 while premium is £5.99 and applies if you place your order before 2pm for next day delivery Monday to Thursday.
