Chicco Sea Sounds Bouncer £59.99 @ Amazon

Chicco Sea Sounds Bouncer £59.99 @ AmazonAmazon have taken £30 off this Chicco Sea Sounds bouncing chair, making it £59.99 instead of £89.99.

By now you should know I'm a huge fan of bouncing chairs for babies; they are a vital piece of baby kit as far as I'm concerned and should be on the 'must have' baby item list.

All three of my children had bouncer chairs when they were little and spent many happy hours snoozing in them, sitting and watching the world go by in them and, in the early feeding days, eating in them.

The Chicco Sea Sounds bouncy chair is an all-singing, all-dancing one and comes with a whole host of features.

It has a soft comfortable seat with an insert pillow, that can be easily adjusted to 3 different heights or removed completely.

The electronic sea themed toy bar plays fun melodies and has flashing lights which are designed to entertain and develop your baby’s manual co-ordination skills.

The Chicco Sea Sounds chair also has an Mp3 connection!  Yes, you can plug your iPod into this chair so you can play your baby's favourite songs through the toy bar, which is removeable.

There is a vibration feature for soothing your baby and the base can be set to either a fixed or rocker position.  If that's not enough for you don't worry, there's more...

The leg rest and backrest are adjustable, there are carry handles on the sides and it also comes with a fleecy blanket too.

The £59.99 price is fixed until 11.59pm tonight, after that who knows whether Amazon will leave it as it is or put it back up.

Happy baby bouncing.

Precious Planet Newborn To Toddler Portable Rocker £42.99 @ Argos

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 21 May, 2011 at 11:00 am

Precious Planet Newborn To Toddler Portable Rocker £42.99 @ ArgosIf you pop along to Argos you'll be able to pick up a Precious Planet Newborn to Toddler portable rocker for £42.99, a third off the rrp.

This is a bit of a bargain as the Precious Planet Newborn to Toddler portable rocker is selling for a fair bit more everywhere else:

  • Amazon £59.99
  • Toys R Us £59.99
  • Play.com £59.99
  • Mothercare £64.99

I can't help it; I think everyone with a baby should have some sort of rocking something in their baby equipment arsenal, so whenever I spot a deal on a baby rocking chair or a baby bouncer I simply HAVE to tell you about it.

This Precious Planet Newborn to Toddler portable rocker is, um, PORTABLE; very handy when you're going out and about to the beach or family picnics, now that the nice weather is here, or for when you go visiting the relatives.

It's suitable for babies/toddlers who don't weigh any more than 18kgs and has flip out feet for a stationary position - perhaps you don't want the chair to rock when they're asleep, and feeding whilst rocking is just asking for food all over the face instead of in the mouth.

The Precious Planet Newborn to Toddler portable rocker also has a soothing vibration feature too.

Bounce and Spin Froggy Bouncer £39.99 @ Toys R Us

Bounce and Spin Froggy Bouncer £39.99 @ Toys R Us

The Bounce and Spin Froggy bouncer is £39.99 at Toys R Us, a saving of £20.00. (Plus £4.95 delivery)

When my daughter went from comfortably sitting to happily crawling in a heartbeat. By four months she was comfortably crawling – we discovered when she crawled herself off the bed, to my shock and horror. She hated bouncy chairs and would throw herself out of hers, ending up like a tortoise on the floor. The Bumbo lasted her only a month or so, and the door bouncer made her scream.

We then found a Fisher-Price bouncer similar to this one, and finally she was happy. She could sit in it for at least half an hour happily playing, while I was able to hang up washing, do dishes, or put on dinner. It was a sanity saver. The only problem was that it was massive and took up most of the floor space of whatever room she was in.

That's why this Bounce and Spin Froggy bouncer from Fisher-Price seems like a great idea. It has lots of activities to keep babies busy, with spinning, bouncing, sliding, batting and more. The activities include:

  • 360° rotating seat allows baby to reach all toys
  • Bat at toy bar with 2 deluxe toys
  • Chick with a jingle ball
  • Teether toy, mirror, and sliding ladybug
  • Fun rollerball that activates sounds and music
  • Assists in baby’s development
  • Jumping fun rewarded with sounds and music
  • Removable machine washable seat pad

The free standing steel frame lets baby jump safely, and this bouncer is compact, so easy to store away. Suitable from when a child can sit unaided to 25lbs.

We found ours so useful, it's the only baby 'equipment' we've kept for should we, one day, maybe, perhaps, think of having another baby.

Chicco Soft Relax Bouncing Chair £14.99 @ Tesco Direct

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 29 September, 2010 at 8:00 am

Chicco Soft Relax Bouncing Chair £14.99 @ Tesco DirectLadies and gents, have I got a bargain for YOU this morning! Tesco Direct have Chicco 'Soft Relax' bouncing chairs for £14.99 - they are currently £50 in John Lewis and £45 over at Kiddicare!

If I was asked to make a list of 'Absolutely MUST HAVE' baby equipment, then the bouncy chair would be in the top three.

They are so incredibly useful I really do tend to start waxing lyrical about them. They don't have to play songs, vibrate or bounce on their own under battery power (although you can have one with these features if you really want them), they can just be simple.

This Chicco Soft Relax bouncy chair IS nice and simple - it's one of those 'does what it says on the tin' products; it's soft, it relaxes and it bounces!

It has a multi-position reclining back rest, you can adjust the foot rest too and it has a three-point safety lap harness.

The cover is nicely padded and can be whipped off and thrown in the wash (hand wash only, folks); it also has a padded head hugger seat insert for when your little one is tiny.

Not only that, it folds completely flat for storage.

Delivery with Tesco Direct is £5.95 (pah!) but you can always collect it in store for freee.

Thanks to tristar over at HUKD!
