I love exclusive discounts that are also valid on sale items. It feels like such a great added bonus. For example, the Love Label Applique Floral Prom Dress, which was £75 and is reduced to £17.99 is available to PlayPennies readers for £16.19 – not a bad price for your Formal dress!

Delivery is free on orders over £50, or £2.95 otherwise, and you can pay by card or PayPal.

BargainCrazy is the Littlewoods clearance website. As such there's only a limited number of children's clothes on there. You're not going to find a full range - I looked for boys trousers aged 5 to 6 and came up empty. But what really drew our eye to the site was a PlayPennies mum who got a pair of Timberland trousers for her 12 year old son for less than £10.

Which causes its own problem actually. When I was testing this out I found it quite hard to fill up the quota of £10 with things I actually needed to qualify for the discount! The temptation might be to buy something just for the sake of it, to top up the total. And that, as all PlayPennies parents know, can turn out to be a false economy.
