Toy Story 3 Backpack Filled With Stationery £6 @ Tesco

Toy Story 3 Backpack Filled With Stationery £6 @ TescoMention the word 'stationery' to me and I'm almost already sold on whatever it is - this Toy Story 3 backpack, filled with stationery, is no exception and Tesco are selling it for just £6 .

My youngest has a bit of a thing for backpacks so this would tick the boxes for him; I love stationery so it totally does it for me, although I don't think with all the fun bits and pieces this Toy Story 3 backpack with stationery contains, I'd actually be allowed to get my hands on any of it.

It includes a backpack (nothing like stating the obvious, I know), a sketch pad, scribble pad and a pencil case containing a pen, pencil, ruler, eraser and a sharpener.

I don't know what it's like in your house but sharpeners are like gold dust in mine so any set that includes one is worth of a gold star as far as I'm concerned.

The Toy Story 3 backpack and stationery set also comes boxed so it'll make a lovely, and inexpensive, gift for any Toy Story fan that has a birthday coming up.  Or, dare I mention it, a present to be stashed away for that festive event that happens at the end of the year.

Having this delivered for £5.95 makes the backpack a bit pricey so, if you can, arrange to collect it from your local Tesco for free.

Peppa Pig Spaceman George Backpack £5.51 @ Amazon

Peppa Pig Spaceman George Backpack £5.51 @ Amazon

This Spaceman George backpack from Peppa Pig is on sale at Amazon for £5.51, a grand 45% off the £10 RRP.

I don’t get the whole Peppa Pig thing. She’s a little whiney, obnoxious and somewhat vain pig, but for my sins, my daughter loves her. I bought her a pair of Wellies when we were on holiday in April, and the only ones in her size were Peppa Pig, and since then… there are even tears sometimes if I won’t let her wear her Peppa Pig ‘boots’.  So I won’t be showing her this!

The Spaceman George backpack has a zip for easy opening, and has adjustable straps making it easier for children to carry. It’s not a huge bag – which you don’t really want for a bag for 3 years and up, and the reviews on it are pretty fantastic. Parents and children love it. It’s bigger than ‘baby backpacks but is big enough for ‘a change of clothes and a drink’.

It’s also an ideal backpack for boys, as it doesn’t have the typical Peppa Pig pink.

Kids Backpacks From £2.99 @ Play.com

Kids Backpacks From £2.99 @ Play.com

There are a few fab looking kids backpacks on sale at Play.com right now

I love that my daughter has a little backpack that she can use to carry her own toys, a nappy and some wet wipes for when I don't feel like playing the role of pack-horse. While these bags are for slightly older kids, I think that's even more reason – although I'm sure mum still ends up carrying them half the time. The point remains, however!

There are only four styles still available for £2.99, was £7.99

But there are loads more for £3.99 to £10.99. There are various offers on various styles, so you need to have a good look.

For example, the Disney Pixar Cars bag is £10.99 or 2 for £20 – not a huge saving, but there none the less. The same applies to the Peppa Pig bag.

On the cheaper side of things, again, are Bob The Builder for £4.99 (was £8.99) and Star Wars for £3.99. Even the shaped backpacks like Little Miss Daredevil and Mr. Men's Mr Bump are down 54% to £4.99

As always, delivery is free and there are 87 backpack options to choose from.

LittleLife Toddler Day Pack Review

LittleLife Toddler Day Pack Review
I have a confession to make. I leash my child. I always said I wouldn't. I said leashes are for dogs. I said my child is not a dog. Then I lost my 8 month old on a pavement at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. My heart stopped, my hair greyed, I saw milk cartons flash before my eyes, and I dug out the restraint I'd disdainfully buried when I received it as a new baby gift.

LittleLife Toddler Day Pack ReviewThe LittleLife Toddler Day Pack, which we have, is a little back pack, large enough for a few toys. You could use it for a nappy and some wet wipes, I guess, but we've made it our daughter's bag. It generally holds a wooden musical instrument, a soft toy, a baby picture book and some finger puppets – perfect entertainment for a day out, in the car or on an aeroplane.

The backpack is well made, the butterflies that decorate it have not scratched or peeled off and the little net pocket is – well, decoration. It's not big enough for a bottle or anything other than perhaps a piece of paper with contact details and a few notes, or perhaps a few biscuits.

The straps go over the shoulders and there's a clip in front to secure the bag to the child. There's a strong clip that clips to a metal ring on the bag, which is attached to strap attached to a material padded ring for the parent or guardian to hold on to.  LittleLife have a range of lovely harness bags. There are normal backpacks like this one, then there are animal bags – turtle, cow, butterfly and ladybird.

I don't use it all the time, but when I do, I am happy in the knowledge that my 13-month old can run around, explore and experiment with her world, without my stress levels spiking. Most of all, I love the fact that she doesn't really 'know' that she's being restrained.LittleLife Toddler Day Pack Review
