Baby Polar Gear Booster Seat £13.70 @ Amazon

The Baby Polar Gear Booster Seat has 40% off at Amazon at the moment, selling for £13.70 instead of £22.99.

I love coffee shops and eating out, and with one child it’s okay – nowhere near as relaxing as it used to be, for sure, but still, doable. Now, I have two children there’s little chance of a stress free coffee again for some time, if last week’s coffee date with a friend with two children is anything to go by!

Regardless,  it’s so frustrating when  you do get to go out and there’s no highchair – or worse, a really manky one! So having your own on hand sounds like a fab idea to me!

The Baby Polar Gear Booster Seat is a cushioned seat which converts most chairs into a toddler seat. It has three straps to hold the seat firmly in place, and it comes with a changing mat in the side pocket – probably useful as a floor mat too!

It’s light to carry and folds away neatly, and I think it’s a great idea to at least keep in the car!

Baby Polar Gear On The Go Booster Seat £15.35 @ Mothercare

The Baby Polar Gear On The Go Booster Seat is currently reduced from £23.99 to £15.35 at Mothercare.

I’ve mentioned before that highchairs have been my nemesis in the first years of parenting, and even now, I have a highchair at home that we paid a fortune for, used less than five times, and the only way I seem able to dispose of it is by Freecycle.

I finally got a great booster seat from Mamas and Papas, but I’ve always seen these, and think it might be a great purchase too – both for smaller babies and travel. And it doesn’t require you to find a new home for one of your chairs for a few years. Bonus.

The On the Go Booster seat is suitable for babies who can sit up unaided (the listing says 12 months, but that’s ridiculous!) to around 15 kg or four years. It’s apparently easy to wipe clean, has a 3-point safety harness, 3 adjustable straps to secure it to a dining chair, and comes with its own changing mat – which I’m sure would make a useful floor mat if you practice baby led weaning.

The Booster Seat converts to a bag with adjustable shoulder straps and weighs around 900g.
