My enduring memories of swingball...?  I wasn't destined to be the next Maria Sharapova!  I hated playing swingball then, and you won't catch me playing swingball now.

The only upside of it, that I can see, is you don't have to go hunting for tennis balls in the bushes, or knocking on your neighbour's door to ask if you can have your balls back please.

I'm sure you all know how swingball works - the ball is attached to a metal pole, that you stab into the ground, and then you bash it round and round the pole with your opponent.  The pole is height adjustable and it comes with two bats...and obviously the ball, on the string.

I wish I'd come across this last month - it was my friend April's birthday and I discovered she was a bit of a closet Hello Kitty fan! The sizes that are available in this size are 3-6 months so that is actually quite limited. Also, the site describes these as “boys” shirts, a fact that I am rather irritated by. Why should girls be pink and boys be red and blue? Why can’t a girl be red and blue? It’s silly and just promotes the whole gender divide thing.

The tees have got the cutest designs on them though. The red is plain with a simple motif and blue piping, the grey has little football shoes and the white has been created so it looks like your tot is Mickey Mouse. So cute!

I was given one of these when they first came out over a year ago - maybe two now? - but I didn't have an iPhone, so I gave it away. Now I have an iPhone I've often considered getting one because my children love my phone, and it's a constant fight keeping it away from them. From the photo it would appear that both t-shirts have a Cinderella theme, one is pink and the other is grey with a purple/blue illustration. I really like the designs on these t-shirts. They remind me very much of the 80s. And while I am really not a fan of the whole Disney Princess thing normally, I find these to be pretty OK overall. No wait - I just read the pink t-shirt. Hmm not 100% sure I'd want my 3 year old in a t-shirt that says - boys, shoes, beautiful dresses - dreams do come true! Who writes these things?

However,  I do like the longer body design. They look really comfortable and perfect for summer. Which I am sure we will get this year (unlike the fake summer of 2012).

The t-shirts are 100% cotton, and were last on sale for £7.99. There's only the one size left unfortunately.

Most of the customer reviews are positive. One does point out that the material is quite thin. Popular plus points about the t-shirts though include the fun design, and the fact that they are lovely and long.

Of all the Disney characters, Mickey Mouse was never one of my favourites - he always seemed a bit goody-two-shoes to me. Now, Pluto and Donald Duck! Well they got up to all sorts of mischief and were much more fun.

My days of buying anything Thomas the Tank Engine are over, unless a friend or family member has a baby boy, as both my boys are now too old for Thomas.

I wonder if your childhood memories of paddling pools are the same as mine?
