Amazon has reduced a substantial number of their Orchard Toys games which range from the cute to the educational to the brilliantly fun. You can choose from a list of around 152 different items and most of them have been reduced.

As I mentioned earlier, not all the Orchard Toys games are reduced or included in the sale. There are several that have not been adjusted so you’ll have to skip on by those chaps. However, there are enough different games to choose from with decent enough savings to make a visit worthwhile.

A baby buggy, pushchair, stroller, pram. We give the device used to push little tiny people around a lot of different name. Some are not universal, as I found when I was in Canada, where they thought it was awfully cute that I called it a pram.

The thing is, when you're a first time mum, it is really hard to decide what it is you actually need. First off, what you don't want to get is a stroller. These are sometimes called a pushchair as well. But confusingly, I've also seen prams or buggies called pushchairs too.

A stroller is a mode of transportation suited to much older babies and toddlers. Definitely not for newborns.

I’m not sure if this is a glitch in Amazon’s system or not, and I don’t suppose it’ll be round for very long, but for those of us that manage to grab it, this is a steal. Usually retailing at £19.99, there’s pretty much 100% off the Multiprint House of Hello Kitty Figurine Dolls, selling at 1p – but there’s £4.62 shipping to consider as it's a marketplace seller. Even so - £4.63 for what would have been £24.62 is not bad going, in my book.

You can also get it Amazon for £10.26, including delivery, which is still 49% off.

So, what is it? Well, it’s a stamping kit, with seven Hello Kitty designs, in a Hello Kitty ‘house’. There’s an ink pad built into the clip on lid, and the box is more than just packaging – you can actually use it for storage.

The grammar in the description is a bit off, it’s dispatched from an Amazon seller (which I’ve never had any problems with!) and there’s a hefty postage fee, but for a Hello Kitty fan, this could make a lovely gift. I know my two year old is loving using stamps at the moment,  and I think these would be a hit!

The Hasbro FurReal friends products were huge this past year but I am not entirely sure that they will stay that way. They aren’t, after all, very good. Needless to say, if you still fancy getting Cookie My Playful Pup, then he is on sale for £41.60 at Amazon right now.

The Hasbro FurReal Friends Cookie My Playful Pup toy has a bunch of features to make pretend play even more exciting for kids. He also comes, at this moment, with a £28 discount off the original price and free delivery.

Actually, I’m terrified of this stuff – if I look at how much playdough our sofas have absorbed over the last six months, I can just imagine adding plasticine to the mix and needing a new sofa in the next six months, but I do re remember having tons of fun with plasticine as a child myself. It is juvenile of me I know, but my new year's resolution is to just be at peace with being completely and utterly silly. At least once in a while. And you know what caught my eye about this bus?
