Sleep question

My daughter wakes around 8am every morning. She won't nap again till about 2 or 3, then she naps for 2 - 3 hours, and is grumpy if we wake her before that. But as a result, she won't go to sleep again till 9 or 10, which means we don't get to bed before 1 or 2 as we both value some adult time.

how can i break the cycle and get her to nap earlier? I've tried keeping her awake, but then she just ends up like a cyclone going through the house. Seh's four now.

Interesting. At four years old my son was in reception at school, and they didn't give nap time. He'd already got out of late naps at 3 as the nursery he went to had nap/quiet time straight after lunch so you got that or nothing.
Is it possible to go out at that time? Maybe take her to a one o'clock club? Keep her active?

Incidentally, my son goes to bed pretty much on the dot of 7:30pm, that's his natural bedtime. If he's up he'll simply fall asleep where ever he is. Which might sound good to you. But. And there is a big but here. He then gets up at 6am. And by 6am I mean anytime between 5:30am and 6am.
