You might be thinking why on earth are the girls at Playpennies posting wellies again? For two reasons, firstly, in the last week I have been on three separate walks that I could have really benefited from wearing wellies on. Mud galore! Secondly, autumn is just around the corner. Things get all slushy and gross come that time of the year.

Just now, a selection of five designs of wellington boots are just £5. Wow! That is a great price. They were originally £18 and if you know the quality of Start-rite then you will agree that the £5 price tag is absolutely terrific.
These come in very adorable designs: Strawberries (with a pink bow), Happy Caterpillar, Space Glow, Country Garden, and Froggie. All equally as cute, and a good mixture suitable for boys and girls.
Each style has a wide range of sizes, from four to twelve, and all of an F fitting. Start-rite suggest that you get your children’s feet measured, as do Clark’s but if you know your child’s size then you should be fine.
I get my children’s feet measured once or twice a year, to ensure they are wearing the right size but with wellies I personally think it’s not a huge deal to get them measured for them. It’s not like they will have them on 24/7.
Postage is £4.25 and they aim to have them delivered in one or two days. If you find the postage a tad steep then why not grab a few pairs at a fiver each to justify it.
