When should i get proper shoes for my daughter
My daughter is about 13 months and is starting to pull herself up to the furniture and walk around a bit. To now, we've just been using soft shoes and slippers, but now i am wondering is it good for her to have harder soled shoes, maybe Clarks or something like that? Would they support her more and help her walk?
We put my daughter in 'real' shoes when she was walking properly. There's a lot of conflicting information about shoes though, because some say the hard soles aren't good for developing feet. We bought a pair of 'Vivobarefoot' shoes when Kyra just started walking and I really liked them. We're still using Vivobarefoot, in fact. I think Tamsin also did a review on them, so perhaps just do a search on PlayPennies. The idea is that it's LIKE walking barefoot, which is meant to be better for children.
Hope that helps!

I think I put my daughter into proper Clarks shoes when she was about 19 months old actually. She was so excited to get proper shoes we had the best time of it. And I definitely agree with Lushka, either Vibrobarefoot or Clarks are best.
