Halfords are selling a Peppa Pig 6V Electric Ride On Car which was £139 for £50, but pop it in your basket and it actually comes up at £45 delivered, which strikes me as a bargain.

The Peppa Pig 6V Electric Ride On Car car will provide hours of outdoor fun and operates like a real car with a forward and reverse gear and foot powered pedal!

This fun ride-on features a seatbelt for "added safety", and has a top speed of 2km per hour. It has a foot operated accelerator, and a 60-90 minute run time, with 8 - 10 hours charge time. That doesn't sound like much run time, really, but if you know children I guess 60- 90 minutes of anything is good going.

The maximum rider weight is 20kg, which I guess at about 4 or 5 years old. The electric ride on car comes with a battery and charger.

Just got the car that had been on display in the shop as it was the last one they'd got and there is no manual/instructions with it. Does anyone know where I can download them or is anyone prepared to scan and e-mail theirs to me please? Thanks

We bought this for my granddaughters birthday back in October her birthday is today we have tried charging it all night and it will not charge we are gutted and are going to have one disapionted little girl!!!

Hi, I would recommend taking it back to Halfords and telling them what happened. Hopefully they can help you! No one likes a disappointed birthday girl :(

I have also bought this for my little girl and did the same charged it overnight but I don't have my receipt and it doesn't work? Does anybody know what could be wrong with it?

hi Having problems. Charging light shows power working. Car doesn't move but makes high whining sound all the time the pedal is depressed. Any ideas please?

You need to take the seat off to connect the battery or it will not work
