Tesco Recall Soft Toys Due To Choking Hazard

Tesco has issued a recall notice for three different soft toys sold through it's stores as they have poorly stitched seams meaning stuffing may come out and present a choking hazard. There is also an issue of loose fur shedding easily, and this can also present a choking hazard.

The three toys affected are a Christmas Crazy Eye Owl, a Giant Floppy Dog and a Giant Floppy Unicorn.

If you have any of these toys you are advised to stop children playing with them and return them to store for a refund. No receipt is necessary.

Horizon Procurement Ltd plush toys

Horizon Procurement Ltd has identified a manufacturing fault affecting a portion of products that may have poorly stitched seams. The stuffing may become accessible to children and present a potential choking hazard. Loose fur can also shed easily.

As a precautionary measure, Horizon Procurement Ltd is recalling affected products from customers.

A list of affected products is detailed below. Horizon Procurement Ltd.'s name and address feature on the product packaging.

  • Giant Floppy Unicorn: EAN 5060373642967

What you should do:

Please stop using affected products immediately.

Please return the affected products to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.
