RECALL: Brother Max Carry & Hang Nightlights

If you have one of these Brother Max Nightlights you need to stop using it immediately, as the manufacturer have just issued a recall over safety concerns.

A statement from the manufacturer says: "Brother Max has identified a potential safety issue with their Carry & Hang Nightlights following an isolated incident where the product overheated. The incident is being fully investigated and due to the potentially serious nature of the risk and our commitment to safety, we have taken a precautionary decision to voluntarily recall this product until further notice."

The recall affects both the Bunny and the Bear versions of the product:

It you have one of these you are advised to stop using it, and unplug it from the mains power. You then need to contact Brother Max by email on the contact details below to obtain your refund:

These products were sold in many major high street retailers like Boots, Mothercare and Tesco, and though most of them have removed them from sale today, they are still being sold on the Argos website at the time of writing.
