Check Your Emails: Achica Glitch Orders Are Getting Honoured

achica

Did you place an order at the weekend and take advantage of the glitch? You may have got an email at the start of the week telling you that your order was cancelled. That happens a lot when a glitch has happened. However, I opened my emails to a nice surprise today, an email of apology from Achica.  You can log in also to check the status of your order, here*.

The email from Achica stated:

Sorry!

Dear <name>

You will have received an email from us earlier this evening about an order you placed being cancelled.

This was sent to you in error, our apologies. Your order has not been cancelled.

We had a technical problem over the weekend, and due to a combination of an incorrect voucher and a free delivery promotion, it appears that lots of customers managed to get a bigger bargain than we had intended! When some of our team noticed this, they rushed to cancel these orders. Which we shouldn't have done.

We're letting you know that we’re going to honour the order, and it should arrive as normal. We pride ourselves on doing the right thing, and we didn’t on this occasion. We’re sorry.

By way of apology, we’d like to offer you another voucher, if that’s not tempting fate… It will have a minimum spend this time!

Value: £10
Minimum spend: £50
Expires: Midnight 17 May 2015
Voucher code: SORRY5515
Voucher can only be used once and is not valid on travel offers. Terms apply

Once again, our sincere apologies.

The ACHICA team.

Well we cannot grumble at that. I think with the volume of orders they have received I am pleasantly surprised that they have honoured it. So, there you have it, you have your FREE or ridiculously cheap goodies to look forward to. Have a look and see if you got the email too.

The more up to date version says they won't honour it.
