Damn. (Can I say that?) Three weeks ago I though this was a fantastic bargain at £110, and it was...but now it's even cheaper! Good news for those who haven't yet ticked it off the Christmas list already.
This is a Nintendo 2DS with Mario Kart 7 and a Mario Folio Kit, all for £99.99 including Free Delivery.
I asked for (and got) a lot of fantastic advice about this from some lovely HUKD members a few weeks ago. What I got from it was that for youngsters and beginner gamers the 2DS is easy to handle and control and is a nice sturdy construction (those were the important factors for me). The chances are that you all know much more about games consoles than me (though I am pretty good at Mario Kart Wii), so you'll know if this is the one for you.
You need to be aware that Mario Kart 7 is not a physical copy of the game, but is already pre-installed on the 2DS console, so you won't be able to lend it out to anyone.
The Mario Folio Kit is an added bonus as it's a sturdy case and accessories that can be used with the 2DS, and this normally costs £15 on it's own.
