Cineworld has £1 per person movie tickets to a variety of children's shows. I'm not sure if this is a new thing, or something they've always done, but it's certainly new to me.
When I lived in London with my first baby, we were perfectly placed between three cinemas, and could attend a parent and child movie screening at a reduced rate any of three days of the week. It was wonderful. I have approached our local cinema a number of times now for parent and child screenings but they're highly uninterested, which makes it really hard for parents with under 1's to get to the cinema. I've been a number of times anyway, and the cinema is always largely empty! Surely they could make more money by filling the seats?
Screenings take place on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings at selected Cineworld cinemas.
Not all films show at all cinemas and they aren't even available all over the country: the nearest to me is over an hour's drive away.
