Now, I loved the Hitchhiker's Guide TV series when I was a kid; it was just weird, funny and quirky and if you remember it too then this will make you feel OLD: it was aired during January and February 1981! That would have made me eight and it sparked off a desire to read the book, which I equally enjoyed.

So whilst this Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Audio CD box set might initially appeal to Hitchhiker's Guide fans from yesteryear (like me!) they might just fire up the imagination of older children too - I don't see that there's any good reason why the youngsters of today shouldn't learn about Babel Fish, and that the answer to the meaning of life is 42!
