Dazzling Disney DVDs BOGOF @ Amazon

29 March 2010

disneydvd Let’s face it, Disney are expensive. They also have a cunning system that means they can keep their prices and demand right up through the roof. So it gives me great pleasure to see this deal at Amazon which cuts their costs in half. Buy one on DVD or Blu-ray and get one free.

The offer ends on April 18th, applies to all Disney movies on DVD and Blu-ray and all you need to do is add the DVDs you want and the system will automatically deduct the price of the second one. There is quite an impressive range of titles included in the deal and I shall now list them for your reading pleasure.

We’ve got (wait for it) Toy Story 1 and 2, G-Force, The Jungle Book, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Tinkerbell and the disneydvd2Lost Treasure, Bolt, 101 Dalmations, Tinker Bell, Wall-E, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, The Aristocats, Ratatouille, Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Dumbo (oh, how I cried) and so much more.

I have been lost in a heady daze of nostalgia buying some of these for my daughter. I mean, I watched Robin Hood and the Jungle Book constantly as a kid and it is so cool to see her love them too. Also, the movies back then were far more emotionally hardcore than the modern ones. Sheesh, remember Dumbo's mother and Bambi's? Remember the scary snake in the Jungle Book? Way different from the stuff we get now.
