Asda Direct are selling the awesome LEGO Star Wars Tie Fighter for £29.98, it's full retails price is usually £49.99.
I went through my own personal Star Wars revival a little while ago - I watched all the episodes (in the correct order of course: IV, V and VI then the other three) one after the other. I must confess, though, that this took me a fair while to work through them all - I watched them in the evenings, you see, which was fatal; after 20 minutes I'd be asleep and have to pick up from the last bit I remembered seeing, the following day.
The Tie Fighter is one of the iconic space crafts that make up the Imperial fleet though - don't you think? This LEGO Star Wars Tie Fighter features dual flick missiles, an opening cockpit and comes with four minifigures too: a Tie Fighter pilot, an Imperial officer, a Death Star trooper and an R5-J2 droid.
It's my youngest son's birthday soon and one of our 'things' is making LEGO Star Wars models together - I've been wanting to build a Tie Fighter for a-g-e-s, so I think it's about time he was given it as a pressie.
You can arrange to collect your Tie Fighter from your local Asda store, or pay an additional £2.95 and have them bring it to you instead.
