Amazon have 57% off the LeapFrog Counting Candles Birthday Cake at the moment, selling it at just £6.50 instead of £14.99.
The Counting Candles Birthday Cake is another Leapfrog innovation that sings and shines – literally… the candles light out and you can blow them out like a real cake.
Press the star button for a birthday song to play and the candles to light up. If you press the balloon button you can sing along to a counting song, or five fun songs about growing up. You can even hear other children’s thoughts on the best things about birthdays.
As with most, if not all, Leapfrog toys you can connect it to the online Learning Patch for customised learning ideas.
I’ve never seen one of these in action, and personally feel that it’s a bit limited in entertainment scope, but the reviewers sing it’s praises with 12 out of 14 giving it five stars. The two that didn’t give it five stars marked it down because of deliver – hardly the fault of the product – and another said her daughter got bored of it, but doesn’t say how old her daughter was.
The Counting Candles Birthday Cake has an age range of 12 months to three years, and requires 3 AA batteries.
