World Book Day is nearly upon us, and if you haven't got the kids costume sorted you have until Wednesday night to get one! Luckily Smyths toys have a pretty big selection, and they have reduced lots of them too, some by as much as 50%! Costumes start from just £4.99, and lots of them are available to buy online or in stores as well.
There is a Cinderella costume even cheaper at £3.99, but it's sold out online and I haven't been able to check every store to see if there are any left, but I can't find any so far. It's worth a quick check, though you can't reserve it either.
From £4.99 there are costumes for pirates, a surgeon, a princess and a ninja, and availability looks really good on most of those, so you might have better luck.
For £6.99 you can get Little Red Riding Hood, a ballerina, a doctor, and a dancer.
For £7.99 there are another two princess costumes to choose from, tiara included, or a nurses outfit. There are lots more other costumes but these are the best value ones.
Apart from the £3.99 Cinderella outfit the rest all have good availability, both online and in stores, but I remember leaving it a bit late last year, and they might well get snapped up quickly now. Don't be like me and end up ringing every Asda in a 20 mile radius asking for a robot costume!
