The Insect Lore Butterfly Garden is for sale on Amazon for £3 less than the usual retail price of £14.99. While this is not a mahoosive saving, the free delivery really does make quite a difference, especially on such a cool product.
The Insect Lore Butterfly Garden consists of a collapsible, re-usable habitat that’s made from fine, transparent mesh. This fabric lets kids see the metamorphosis of the butterflies up close and personal – a seriously cool thing to watch.
The Butterfly Garden comes with an easy to use feeder and complete instructions on how to raise your caterpillars until they become gorgeous Painted Lady butterflies. I am a bit confused by the actual kit as it doesn’t say whether or not the caterpillars are included, although I assume that is a tad unlikely.
You will have to send off for the live specimens needed to grow inside the habitat which will be an extra expense. However, the kit is pretty cool and being able to rear your own butterflies is quite something.
