Ideas for men's Christmas gifts?
I'm REALLY at a loss for a gift for my hubby this year. We don't have much money going around, and the only things we NEED are way more expensive than I can afford this time. Apart from one CD I know he'd quite like, I just don't know what to do for him, as I don't want to waste money on tat... I feel quite down thinking about it. Does anyone have suggestions for good gifts for men?

Something I'm thinking of doing for my girlfriend but would quite like myself...
How about a movie giftbox. I'm thinking large bag of Doritos, pop corn, bottle of coke, bag of maltesers, DVD and Cinema gift card.
Money has been far too tight for us these last two years. We decided on a price limit for presents. Ones that I've done for my other half for birthdays and Christmas have included a paint canvas on which my son and I put paint-prints of our hands, a mug with a photo on it of hubs with son, and a keyring with all three kids on it. In with these have been a plate of his favourite home made cupcakes, a cookie that my son made and decorated, and home made fudge. Another thing that we've done is spent within the budget but extravagantly. Like spending the ten quid on really nice socks, for example. Something that the other person needs, but would usually only buy the bargain basement stuff for them. One thing I saw today that I was really tempted by this year was a Man Tin - a tin for leads, screws, allen keys and all the other crap they think they need to keep

Hmm what about giving him a card that gives him special priviliges for 1 day, it could be for anything ^^ . Do you know how to knit, that would be a nice gift. I think anything that is personal is always nice and can cost nothing, anyway im a 33yr old guy and thats my 2 cents
.
i do surveys all year to build up vouchers so i can get hubby his fav aftershave x i'm putting a gift box of my mother in laws fav things as she's 83 but the same principal can be applied to men ,both cellardoor and lynlyoram's ideas are cool and i may add some homemade fudge in to mother's box . To be fair my hubby is over the moon with any thing i give him and a big bow has been used more than once wink wink x happy christmas all x
