Reading is such an amazing thing and it breaks my heart to think of anyone a) not enjoying it and b) not being able to do it at all.
Boys are still behind girls in the reading 'race' and having two book worm boys to my name, I'm sure their love of books and reading came from being given the 'right' books very early on.
My eldest son loved reading all the Horrid Henry stories (he's almost 18 now) and my youngest son is still enjoying them - he's just gone six.
