I go through phases with competitions like this - I mean, someone has to win them...right?  SO it might as well be either you or me.

It's F1 season again, I know this because my dad is looking extra harassed - he works over in Italy for Ferrari F1 and, well...if you watch F1 you'll know that's 'enough said'.

I don't get excited about it anymore so you're more than welcome to these tickets to the Grand Prix at Silverstone; living just down the road, in relative terms, from the circuit the whole event is just a menace and causes local chaos.  I have friends who live on Monaco and it's the same for them every year too, anyway - enough of that, here's the rest of everything you need to know.

I've got two printers on my desk at home - one is an HP laser printer and the other is a Canon ink-jet one that has something daft like 10 different colour cartridges. It's also a scanner, photocopier bla bla and can do most things other than cook the dinner.

It didn't cost much BUT, and here's the catch, the cartridges cost me a fortune on a regular basis - I tell you, it would probably be cheaper for me to just buy a new printer each time!

I fly often and not the last time but the time before that I sat next to this really nice old chap who had a couple of glasses of wine with dinner; after dinner he took a couple of pills and within 20 minutes he was away with the proverbial fairies!  An hour later we had to put a call out for any medics on board - it was 'interesting'.

For my 'trouble' the cabin crew gave me a bottle of Lanson champagne (there were no spaces in first class, otherwise I would have been moved upstairs - gutted!) and I can highly recommend it!
