If you have taken part in the McVitie's biscuits soft toy promotion and been sent one of the Sweeet Friends soft toys then hopefully you should have been already contacted by the promoters about the safety recall.
The promoters have been made aware of two instances where an eye of the character became detached, so as a precautionary measure they are recalling all Sweeet Friends promotional soft toys while the fault is being resolved.
If you were sent one of these toys and passed it on to someone else, then please make them aware of the issue so that they toy can be returned.
When you contact the promoters you will be sent a pre-paid envelope to return the toy, along with a £5 voucher as a 'gesture of good will', and in the future you should also receive a replacement toy once the issue has been resolved.
