Here's an idea for Mother's Day - take her to Aldi and stock up on some bargain baking equipment! Well, maybe not a Mother's Day outing then, but it's worth a trip to Aldi from this Sunday if you like a bit of home baking.
There's a wonderful looking Classic Food Mixer for £34.99 that has 12 speeds, a 4 litre bowl, and comes in a choice of pretty colours. If I sound clueless that's because I've never had one, but I might do a bit more baking if I did!
There are also lots of baking accessories like measuring cups and spoon sets, rolling pins, scales, storage jars, baking tins and trays, cake containers, and kids bakeware. At the same time there will also be special buys on ingredients like Betty Crocker Cake Mixes, Baking Flour, Flan Cases and so on. Aldi seem really keen to get us baking this Easter. Sounds like one way of keeping the kids busy, yep more school holidays are on the way...
